While traveling from Maryland to New York for business, we chose to stop at this location for dinner around 8:00 PM. Based on the signage posted, we expected the lobby to be open until 9:00 PM. However, upon arrival, we found the lobby doors locked.
I approached a staff member to inquire, and she explained that the lobby had closed early due to being short-staffed. While we completely understand the challenges of staffing, we were still disappointed as we had specifically chosen to dine inside due to needing to place two separate orders for our business travel.
When we proceeded to the drive-thru, we explained the situation and requested to place two separate orders. Unfortunately, the team member declined our request and insisted we circle back through the line for the second order. Despite our polite explanation, and even after pointing out the early lobby closure, we were told this was not possible.
Ultimately, we left without ordering any food, which was disheartening after a long day on the road. We were simply hoping for a bit of flexibility given the circumstances, especially since the early closure limited our options.
I hope that this location might consider situations like this in future training or policy discussions. We’ve had many positive experiences at Popeyes, and we would love to continue being customers on our...
Read morePLEASE READ MY STORY!! Popeyes drove me into poverty :( I came here last week with my sister (God rest her soul) and we both had the delicious chicken sandwiches with hottie sauce and the total was a reasonable $20. I wish I knew that treating myself to popeyes this day would change my life forever. I am now struggling to buy christmas gifts for my family, I don’t think I’ll be able to give anyone any gifts until April. I feel like trash. And I have broken down crying multiple times when I think about how I have to quit therapy this month to be able to buy food instead. I had to use my grandma’s debit card to put $10 of gas into my car. I am scrambling around my room to find things I can return to amazon. I have gotten my piggy bank out and am gonna go to a coinstar tomorrow and hope it’s enough money to get me through another week. I think if some people were given the chance to go back in time to change one thing, some people would stop 9/11, or relive a cherished memory, or tell a loved one they love them one last time, but for me….. I’d go back and tell myself not to get popeyes that day, and to also not hit my sister with a car maybe (God rest her soul). I am so hungry. I want another sandwich, but I can’t afford it. Would anyone like to venmo me? Happy Holidays, (or unhappy in...
Read morePoor corporate customer service practices. I had a T-Mobile coupon which explained the order had to be placed through the app. I ordered my food, the next screen was for payment. I figured that's where I could enter the coupon. Nope! As soon as I entered my payment information my order was pushed through at full price. I attempted to stop the order but it rammed through at full price. At no point was there an option to either cancel or modify my order. I immediately went to the counter to explain and was told they would give me my order but they could not cancel it. Again, no option to cancel or modify the order in the app. I contacted the customer service chat bot and eventually was offered a refund which would take 5-10 business days. When I check my order history this order is already missing. This is not my first problem with Popeyes as I previously discovered the only way to receive rewards is to order through the app. My recommendation is be careful or better yet, AVOID! 5/6/25 Edit: No. It hasn't changed. Poor customer service. The previous complaint I had has gone unanswered by corporate. If you're desperate or it's the only place around, by all means roll the dice and go here. When the food is good it's good. When there are issues you'll regret not going...
