02-23-2021 Here's the thing, I love this company and their food. I was asked to give this store a second chance, and I did. In fact I visited this store 5 more times before I decided to write this post. Never have I ever been so disappointed. I would like to state that I understand this is fast food but it is clear that this location should be shut down.
For the record I used the Taco Bell app to place my order in advance. I wanted to make sure that everything was correct before I submitted my order, that there was no chance of human error on my part regarding the orders. But nevertheless everything was always wrong once I picked it up.
Two out of my five trips I received undercooked nacho fries. One of my trips I received no fires and three out of five trips I received everything covered in refried beans beans, which was beyond frustrating because I don't eat beans at all. Now to be fair I have ordered bean burritos before for my friends but if I'm being honest this felt more deliberate... How does one bean burrito turn into six of them, even when I ordered the, chicken chipotle melt? I mean how do you give someone a bag full of bean burritos when you order four or five different items that include fries?
Moving forward, and I hate to say this but I recommend that corporate take a serious look at this location and retrain or even fire some staff because this is what ruins, the Taco Bell food chain. And from my understanding Taco Bell is already on the verge of collapse due to serious issues regarding staff and food quality.
The only good thing I have to say was the actions of a young female manager who was so professional in fixing and handling my third visit. I kid you not, I picked up my food drove all the way home. Set the table for my partner and I, only to find everything was wrong. And I was beyond angry about it. We returned to the location waited about 20 minutes in line again! I then explained what had happened to the cashier who was beyond annoyed that I came back. Which lead me to ask for the manager. I then started to explained to the manager what had happened with a slight tone of frustration to which I thhen provided the receipt and bag full of food. She checked the bag realized it was wrong and apologize, she then quickly replaced all of it. She remained calm and kept it very professional compared to everyone else I came in contact with.
My only regret is not asking for her name because she needs proper recognition. I hope she reads this and knows that she is the best investment this company has ever made.
So in conclusion I will not be using the Middletown location ever again and if you are afraid of staff tampering with you're food don't come here. I had more then enough evidence to believe/ prove that staff at this location are vindictive.

Older post... I am so over this restaurant. Under no circumstances should an employee or manager yell at customers because they entered the building. We walked into the restaurant as 3 other customers where leaving with there food. We approached the kiosks and started ordering. Note the doors where unlocked and other customers where already inside. After 3 minutes of looking over the new menu someone started yelling at us. And told us we are not allowed inside... Again I will state that they already serviced other customers inside and the door where unlocked with not signs stating they where closed to indoor ordering.
My point is that I'm tired of restaurants not making it clear or being polite about misunderstanding. I was not going to argue over being inside but the way the employees handled this is outrageous. I myself worked fast food and retail for 6 years, I can strongly support him being corrected by his supervisor...
Read moreI hate to be this person but this is the third time. I’ve never ever once complained or made a review before. I want to give chances because not every order has been messed up. But this is the third time! I’ve worked in fast food myself before but this is just insane. I wish I kept the photo from Uber eats! But last night I had an order! It was disastrous. I don’t eat out much and I have restrictions. I prefer to cook but sometimes I just want a black bean Crunchwrap.
I called last week they said they had black beans. I ordered the black bean crunch wrap under the assumption that they still had them. That order was perfect take in mind I hadn’t eaten there in a month just about because no taco bells had black beans. Due to my Syncopy issues I am not driving. I don’t ever really eat out.
They’ve messed up my order the last 3 times I’ve ordered from them. But this order last night took the cake it was worse than the second time. The second time had refried beans/tomatoes but it was still a Crunchwrap. I didn’t eat it because of the tomatoes. Last night I ordered a black bean Crunchwrap with extra lettuce and no tomatoes. I asked for some sauces! The driver she was fabulous tipped her about $10 for the first crazy rain. I get one item take in mind! I didn’t mess up my order at all. I look in the bag there wasn’t a single napkin or sauce which I was like I’ll live. Don’t mind the 12 packets of sauce I choose that because they often if not never deliver on the sauces so I wanted back up.But I take one bite out of this order.
I had a mouthful of tomatoes which I cannot eat at all and that’s why I was upset. No lettuce at all! Barely any sour cream. Heavily loaded with nacho cheese. Last but least no black beans but refried beans. They couldn’t communicate that to me! That they were out? Door dash/Uber eats and other merchants reach out from the restaurant I’m ordering from to let me know that they’re out of what I wanted to order. I’d be so much happier with that answer. It was also so poorly made and I couldn’t eat it because of my restrictions. This order really felt like a FU.
It was mush! It was absolutely disgusting.It was everything I didn’t want in an order. This order was not accidentally screwed up at all. It was made by someone who clearly is careless and doesn’t care about anything that doesn’t affect them. I get fast food can be a stressful job. I used to work at Popeyes from cashier to everything else. It was hell! But this was just careless. I get that my order doesn’t affect you but I cannot process tomatoes and it makes me very sick.

Read moreI went to this Taco Bell because I wanted a cold drink. I saw something on the menu that I wanted to get in addition to this. To finish it off I decided to get a two pack of Cinnabon delights which I saw on the menu or two for a dollar. I considered the six pack which was $5.12 but then I decided why not just get the two pack for a dollar. When the cashier rang up everything I noticed that the Cinnabon delights were ringing up as $1.29. When I got to the drive-through window I mentioned this to the person there and they proceeded to tell me that I must have been looking at the cinnamon twists which were a dollar because the Cinnabon delights were $1.29. I clearly stated that the sign said that it was two for a dollar and wondered if they would be fixing that because they should not have a sign that says a different price than what they are charging people. This cashier proceeded to tell me how wrong I was and even took a picture of how the Cinnabon delights rang up in their system, at $1.29. completely disregarding the fact that their sign could actually be incorrect. He did not seem to care one bit about why I was bringing this to their attention. I asked to speak to a manager. This person said that he was the manager. I said at that point you can just take it off of the order, but person proceeded to tell me that, “...to help me out...” they would give me a discount. First of all, I was highly offended at the fact that my bringing this discrepancy up was completely disregarded and that this manager went above and beyond to try and prove that I was wrong and then implied that I needed “help.” I was done talking, and I was thirsty, so I just wanted my order and to leave. This kind of inefficient management and lack of concern is completely unacceptable.
