Wendy's — Restaurant in Middletown

If you want Wendy's DO NOT GO HERE!! Very unprofessional, lasy, and you see most of them "chilling" as if it's a hangout spot. On 9-22-2018 at 12pm my husband went in to get food for our family of 4. Their was a line out the door and once inside it took 30 minutes to place a order. The worst part was the chunky white girl working at the register was hanging out , laughing, once one order was finally finished she would wonder off away from the register and be so eager to speak to her friend and waist time. Working fast food you should know people in line are hungry and don't have time for employees to act this way. The manager was worse he was part of the problem watching his co worker wonder off. It was a horrible experience. I thought I can give them a second chance today 9-23-18 at 2 pm this time my family and I and went through the drive thru and they messed up our order. When my husband goes inside and trys to get the food we ordered and payed for a lesbian stud woman comes out from the back and starts arguing with my husband saying he was in the wrong and she took the order correctly. Now we're done with this place. They also need to find a new smoking spot because most of the employees smoke right in the parking lot near the drive thu. I've been mostly satisfied with service at this location up until today. But I am absolutely disgusted with how long I waited at the drive through. At first, I assumed that the 2 cars in front of me were taking an inordinately long time to place their orders. And by "long time," I mean 14 minutes for the 2 cars. (I did see that first car with its window all the way up for a while, so I didn't blame the staff.) But when I reached the ordering spot with the speaker, I was told, "I'll be with you in a second." I proceeded to sit there while a deluge of rain poured into my car for a solid 5 minutes as the people in the 6 cars behind me all drummed their fingers on their steering wheels impatiently. (Actually, I could only see the drivers in the first 3 cars behind me, but I assume everyone was feeling pretty impatient.) After 5 minutes, I gave up and drove away. I don't know if the employee whom I observed talking on her cellphone while standing in the restaurant's dining area was on break, but if so, they really needed more staff to cover during the break. I will not be returning to this location, even though I live only 3 minutes away from it. I don't need to sit at a drive through for 19 minutes without even getting to place my order. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars, is because the day crew will usually get the order right. The night crew is the reason why minimum wage exists. Some people aren't even worth that, and they are the night crew here. How hard is it to make a sandwich right? Must be pretty difficult if you end up with a burger with two bottom buns with wiped off ketchup on one of the two buns. How can someone feel they deserve $15/hr when they can't make a burger correctly and follow the simplest of directions. I avoid going to this Wendy's at night because of how terrible they are. Honestly it's worth the trip to the Cromwell Wendy's to avoid dealing with the night crew. Hopefully this will help make some much needed change for the night crew.
