Firehouse Subs Eastman Ave — Restaurant in Midland

I'm frustrated! I'm sick and tired of getting soggy subs from here! And them forgetting to give us the pickles!!!! **THEY WEREN'T BUSY!!!

We ordered online. It said pick up at 6:50pm. My husband got there 6:45pm. No greeting when he walked in, and it was not busy. So he sat down to wait. Someone came in and walked to the counter and grabbed a bag and walked out. She thought, I wonder if ours is there. Hevwalked over and sure enough ours was there. He brings them home. We open the boxes and look for the pickles. THERE WERE NONE! We also were trying the new BBQ Cuban subs and requested 2 sides of BBQ. THERE WAS NONE! I go to eat my sub (Italian) the whole bottom bun was soggy. So disgusting! I'm sick of paying top dollar and driving across town for soggy subs! I called and asked for a manager, she answered saying "this is the manager" I asked her name and she stumbled, I don't even know if she gave me her real name. But she did apologize. I'm not complaining to get something free. I'm complaining because I love the subs when they are good, I want to continue to shop there! If eoykd be a little different if they were busy! First time diner...most likely last. Service and suggestions were very cordial at onset. Disappointed in only two breads available. Items were all pricey just as several people had warned us....finally made order to go, received, paid and left cash tip.

Upon getting home opened bag And found items only loosely packed and were disheveled...bread was burned and soup was missing. Immediately called restaurant was told I must speak to manager. Was given two options, either receive a credit or drive back and get soup. Despite it being a Midland County Fair night and extremely heavy traffic, I returned for my soup. This time the friendliness and cordial attitude had disappeared. I then inquired if a comp dessert would be considered for my inconvenience ? The manager said bitingly and sarcastically he would spare a cookie or brownie. I decided on the brownie.(But actually had the cookie when I got home)
