Staples — Local services in Midland

Went in to the Staples store for an Amazon return, no greeting, is there no customer service at this store? The guy at the counter said just a minute, hey can someone take this Amazon return, you would have thought that I was an inconvenience by the way I was treated, the person who reluctantly waited on me then printed the receipt and said can someone get that, I got to go and walked away, I had to wait for someone to retrieve the receipt literally 5 steps away to give it to me. Really?? Ugh maybe it's me, but I expect more. The UPS Store is fast and friendly. Obviously Staples doesn't want to do Amazon returns or have staff that like their jobs, they all look miserable every time I go there. 😄😄😄 I won't be back for anything. This is not the first time it's the last straw. I go there from printing sometimes and that's hard too. Looking for a new printing service.Rant over! I just expect more if you want...

Just stopped in to the Staples in Midland Michigan. I had placed an order for 500 business cards the night before and was told they would be ready tonight. When I got there, the supervisor Jacob Szymanski said there was no record of an order. He knew that we had placed orders before, so without hesitation, he apologized for the mistake and proceeded to fulfill my order. He then only charged me half price and gave me a coupon for future use. What an amazing example he is for the rest of the employees there! He went above and beyond to make sure the customer was treated right and happy with the results. This is the kind of employee that everyone wants working for them! Erica at the Midland store is amazing, she went above and beyond helping me with a Bluetooth wireless keyboard I need. I work out of my truck with a tablet and phone and do not have a lot of space. She looked in several areas of the store to locate the keyboard that would work best for my situation. She could have just sold me the one I had picked out but she listened to my needs and found a smaller version that will work perfectly. Thanks for going the extra mile Erica!!!
