As a fast food chain goes when you walk into one you expect a particular type of service and atmosphere. This Culver's Midland Michigan had what I came to expect from a Culver's restaurant with the food. However when it came to the service component, they certainly didn't meet my expectations. After going to the drive-through we were missing one ranch dipping cup which is no problem we went back inside to get the 1 cup. Upon going inside and asking for the one cup I was told I would have to pay for it. Keep in mind I didn't get the ranch cup because they forgot to put it in the meal so now they're asking me to pay for the ranch cup a second time. After explaining the situation to the counter service individual He promptly told me he couldn't do it unless I had my ticket for my bag which was waiting out in the car. And then gestured rudely for me to go get it. At which point I asked for the manager who then rudely and abruptly said fine just give it to him whatever and this was a woman in her late fifties. So overall the food was what I expected the service however far below what I expect to see coming from a Culver's restaurant. I truly hope that the leader of the management team sees this and has a discussion with all of their management and staff about how it's more important to satisfy the customers needs, promote, nicely and with respect than to force somebody to pay twice for a 37 cent...
Read moreThis is the single worst Culver's location I've visited. I've lived in the area for two years and visited here maybe ten or twelve times throughout.
The problem is that the people who work here try to shove customers through the line and don't listen very well. You get through half a sentence, and they'll interrupt with, "anything else I can get for you today?" Like, yes, the other 80% of my order if you'd stop and let me speak. More often than not, this panicked lack of sense leads to wrong orders and longer lines.
Par for the course, I visited only a few days ago after about seven months of not, and while I didn't see any familiar faces, the practices were the same. The gal at the drive thru caught very little of what I said, ran through a ton of suggestions I didn't want, and I ended up with a mouthful of mayo. I hate mayo. There were no other condiments on there. I like the other condiments. Wrong soda, small fry. It took an additional 20 seconds to get to the part where I asked for a meal and not just a sandwich because she wouldn't stop talking and let me place an order.
The one thing she got right was that the burger was only supposed to have one patty. Past that, like I said, worst Culver's I've ever visited, and it doesn't seem like they have the smallest intention of turning...
Read moreThis is the only fast food joint that servers restro quality diner food with retro customer service! Staff is always abundantly friendly, expedient, and makes delicious fresh food. So much in fact I don't go to any fast food joint anymore (sorry McDonalds, your customer service sucks). You walk in and will be greeted by a full, friendly staff. Many of them are young or with physical disabilities, yet their ambition and capaciousness for high volume workloads put most customer service based businesses to shame. I've called from inside the store once to speak with management to tell them once how incredible their staff was performing, and how the man running the register was beyond helpful and kind. When I went back a year later to ask how he was doing, they said he left on great terms for a job he's been wanting for a while. Love the support, love the food, love the staff! Your food is always fresh and hot. They don't give you hog slop at any Culver's I've been to...
