I asked for 2 American sandwitches. No onions, no tomatoes and only one with Mayo. She put the cheeses and meat on and toasted it then she got to the vegetables and she asked again. I repeated myself. Then she started to add spinach and I said no. And repeated myself. This lady got in my face and started yelling at me. That it's not what I said. Another lady took over who started yelling at me. She started screaming that it's not how subway works. I tried to difuse the situation by getting on my phone while she continued to yell at me. I said nothing. She kept claiming that she could refuse me service too. Once she got to the mayo, I said only one with Mayo please. And them she started claiming. So you don't want the all American sandwitch. Like. I was ordering those sandwitches for someone else so idk what comes on this sandwitch but what he told me to take off. I still said nothing. Finally got to the register to pay and I reach over for sandwitches and she yelled at me do not dare reach over my counter. She throws my change on the counter instead of my hand that was reached out to collect. I have never in my life been treated this poorly at a restaurant before. I honestly felt unsafe. I wish I would have just left. I was so shocked with how I was treated. Then I get home and realized while I was looking at my phone to ignore her nasty remarks she put mayo on both sandwitches. When I requested a manager I was informed there was none, even though Emily identified Anthony as a Night Manager. If you’re going to be so ill equipped that you can’t make your menu items, then have the ability to refund when people ask for it. Had it not been for the extreme amount of incompetence in training or protocol, I might not care, but not having management that’s trained to do basic staff work on a shift is unacceptable. The other employees one male one female were smacking eachothers a$$ while I was standing there. The male proceeded to put veggies on my sandwich, he had gloves on but kept touching his face and his hat! Veggies looked old, lettuce was brown already. I asked for mayo he loaded it on!
