As someone who speaks little Spanish, ordering at Wall Street Cocina felt less like a casual dining experience and more like an audition for Dora the Explorer. I walked up to the counter, ready to order, only to be met with a blank stare that screamed, “Por qué estás aquí?”
I asked for recommendations, but the cashier acted like I’d just asked them to name all 50 states in alphabetical order. They mumbled something in Spanish, looked at me like I should already know the menu, and pointed vaguely at the wall. At that point, Google Translate became my new best friend and basically took my order for me.
When my food came out, they shouted my name so fast it sounded like a spell from Harry Potter. By the time I realized it was my order, it was already getting cold on the counter, and the staff had gone back to ignoring me. I tried asking for napkins and hot sauce, but they just nodded and smiled like I was a tourist holding up the line. I left feeling like I’d been roasted harder than their salsa.
The food wasn’t bad, but the customer service? Let’s just say I’ve had better conversations with a brick wall. If you’re an English speaker hoping for a friendly, welcoming experience, maybe try somewhere else. Or brush up on your Spanish first.

I drove home and noticed I was missing a plate of tacos, called them to see if I could get refunded for that order of tacos I never got. They said they couldn’t but I could go back and pickup my missing order of tacos. I told them I wouldn’t mind making a drive back there but if they could at least refund a partial amount for the inconvenience. She stated she couldn’t do that because it would “affect her” when I felt I was the one that was affected throughout the situation. She said she was the manager but she sure didn’t seem like one. Aside from this bad experience I got on here to leave my review to see a lot of people saying they had been overcharged. I looked at their menu and did the math on what I ordered, I paid $53 when I should’ve been charged $35 after taxes. I feel like the “manager” is overcharging people and then getting all that overcharged money from the cash register at the end of the night. After her saying it would “affect” her if she refunded our money that’s all that came to mind. Shady shady business. Will not return...

I ordered food and when I pull up 25 min later , she said that she forgot to put the order in and it wasn’t busy , there was one person inside and like two cars in drive thru . Anyway we waited another 15 minutes and we got our food . We bought a Coke form thier and asked for ice . She then try to charge me 1.20 for ice . Really? That’s Crazy . The other times we walked in and the ladies were on phone and was standing there like at least 4-5 min before she helped me and when she did , she was clueless of the menu.
