I went with my daughter and her friend on Sunday 04/02/23 and we where the only ones for the first 10 min or so, then 3 or 4 other groups came in over the next 15-20 min. This did not include those using the drive thru. The one working the front was very pleasant and trying his best to be quick and help everyone. He wasn’t snappy or short, which he very well could have been. The food came out a little slower but it was hot and fresh! Part of our order was two classic chicken sandwiches; mine had both bottom buns and my dtr had both top buns, which made us giggle. It did NOT change the way it tasted and had I not seen it, I never would have known. We WILL go back because of the service and food. After reading some of these reviews, I am sad for the world kids are growing up in, which will perpetuate this poor behavior because they model their parents behavior.
Do you really think businesses want to fail or not do a good job? Yes, they cannot fix it if they do not know, but this isn’t about a poor employee or system issue. The pandemic and the way our lovely government handled has caused more damage than helped and why we have so many short staffed service-related businesses and inpatient and rude consumers.
The entitlement in some of these reviews is shameful. For those that say “workers do not care, service was slow, hours do not match, why was the lobby closed and on and on.” STOP IT! You know exactly why, and if you do not, get out of ME mode and take a look around. Would you want to go make $9-$12/hour (before taxes) to be treated like garbage? No? Well, the same goes for them! Most are not willing to put up with it, especially when they cannot make a living. So if they are there, BE NICE! These jobs were meant for high school/college age kids 20-30 years ago, but this is no longer the case and has not been for years. THIS is why you can’t go into the lobby at 8 on a Saturday or the sandwich is made on different bread. They do not have enough employees to properly run the restaurant or whatever the service related business is. If they do, it is because they are paid better and are treated better! There will always be Karens, but that behavior shouldn’t be the norm. Why would they care when they are treated so poorly or paid so little? Ever hear the expression , you get what you pay for? Some are valid complaints, but it is not the end of the world. No one is dying, it is not physically or mentally causing harm, it is a fast food place! One poster was so mad they couldn’t get in to get her whopper she was putting the effort in to contact corporate to report and another complainer said [burger king] “had both drive-thrus blocked off and the doors locked and when I called to see if they were still open they hung up.” Seriously? Where they just blocking everything and locking the doors because they were open? I have a feeling they hung up because she was calling incessantly or it wasn’t the first call and she was on a tirade causing a very unpleasant interaction.
When you see others behaving this way or you are, take a step back and look at how you are behaving. Would you be embarrassed if your boss, family or friends saw it? If it was filmed and posted to social media? We need to have more consideration for others and MAYBE then, we can get a chicken sandwich in the lobby during business hours. Be nice and be a better person. Our society needs it or it is only going to get worse.
Photo of the girls being silly- they even sang the BK song to the employees, which seemed to...
Read moreWe had breakfast and the food was ok, mainly all we bought was sandwiches the bacon on the croissantwich sandwiches was ok good, the ham tasted fine but was cold and the rest of the sandwich was warm so not very good, it seemed like there was only one person in the building working. A female took our order and then came to the window and took our money and then the same lady came and gave us our food. It seemed like we waited about 10 minutes to get our food but I think maybe she was the only one working there. This 9 a.m. on a Sunday. She was very nice. I would say overall the food was okay I would not probably order the ham sandwich again just because I don't like cold Ham on a hot sandwich. The sausage croissan'wich was pretty much the only one that was fairly good. The croissant which is my favorite so I was kind of let down by the ham and bacon. A couple of my kids like the biscuit sandwiches and had ordered them and they were not very good the biscuits were falling apart which made all the toppings inside the sandwich kind of make a big mess. They had to pick through them and eat the parts by hand as opposed to eating it like a sandwich. You can't complain too bad you get what you pay for when you go to fast food. Just wish this would have been better. I do think the lady who was serving us was doing all the work by herself so....
Read moreSo here I am sitting at arbys with the 7 other people that were going to meet me at BK to eat because tonight when I got to the restaurant I walked back to a table in the back because I needed to charge my phone for a second to communicate with the party that was going to meet there to eat (my phone had died). Bout even in there for 30 seconds when young shaved head manager and his muscle (his helper I guess, in case I caused problems, IDK) approached me, instead of coming at me with nice customer service I was asked if I was going to order anything, I told them yes and he said if not you have to leave and then he walked away. So now I am enjoying Arbys, I recommend getting the Big Montana meal. And the customer service here is top notch. There was absolutely no reason to approach me the way I was approached at BK. No matter how the situation went there is a thing called customer service and it includes being polite. I didn't get so much as a hello or welcome, it was straight up get the Hell out if you are not going to order anything.. Thank god for Arbys, you guys rock and will be coming...
