Former Florida man, that moved to Gahanna a little over a year ago. I am a fan of Columbus Style, and since moving here I have been searching for a representative of Columbus style pizza in Gahanna. After a years long search….. Frankie’s Delivers that quintessential bite. The pep-pep-alooza pie, is delicious with three different flavors and textures of pepperonis that combined together… hits different. I ordered it well done to make sure the peps get a little extra curl to them, the crust is crunchy and crisp and the sauce is tangy with a hint of sweetness to it. I have also tried the Caribbean Jerk chicken wings and was surprised to find that much jerk flavor at an Ohio pizza shop. Overall if you live on the East Side of Columbus, and are a fan of CBUS style pizza, I implore you to get Frankie’s it does not disappoint!

Out of towners and we decided on Frankie's to introduce us to local pizza here. Couldn't be happier. We drove past many of the other local pizza joints and what a great decision to keep going. The crust is the perfect balance of crispy and thin. We had the dragons breath and the pep-pep-oroni. Both were fantastic. The spicy veggies on the dragons breath were a new treat. The owner was a pleasure to interact with. If we lived here Frankie's would be a staple eatery.

If you’re looking for tasty Columbus style pizza, this is a great place for it. I got the Pep-Pep-Alooza. It was covered with tasty pepperoni of all sizes. The pizza was well done and the crust was crispy. I usually like softer, thicker crust, but this was a great detour from the usual. I also got the macaroni bites and I would definitely recommend. You actually get a decent amount of them and they travel well too.

I wish Frankie's was the first thing to come to mind when considering pizza. Not sure why, but maybe some others stand taller in my opinion. Great sausage, and super friendly owner keeps me coming back.

I couldn't remember my last visit, but was surprised to see there were 3 previous check-ins here. Then you see the pictures and remember how much you love those medallion slices of spicy sausage. The thin crust, and that edge to edge bounty of toppings. The price is on point. No pretentious pie costs, or value price skimping. I recommend giving Frankie's a go. I wish I remembered to, more often. They give a military discount, and have coupons that you can print from their website. I think I recall some daily specials posted. Ask when you call.

Small spot around behind Rita's Ice concoction. Parking in the rear or bank next door. They don't need much because there's no dining in. It's all carryout across the counter. 2 lounge chairs and a video game in case you arrive early. I never seem to remember the modern smoker standing up in the kitchen. You can smell it when you walk in. He's always doing something with it. This time was no different. He was doing pork belly. He carried over a tray and offered me a piece. It was so good and flavorful. He's got that smoker meat skill for sure. I asked if he was creating a new specialty pizza recipe. "Nope. Just messing around". He told me they smoke their wings first(naked), then flash fry for crispiness before shaking in sauce. He gave me one of these smoked wings to try. I want to believe that their sausage is so good because they smoke it.

I have my own taste specific hang ups. The sauce or crust is too sweet for me. If he ever gave the option of choosing a sauce with smoked tomatoes and less sugar, I would be...

We were looking through Google for a new, local, small business pizza shop to try out. We are always looking for a new, and good pizza place. So, when we seen Frankie's and their reviews by customers here on Google we decided to give Frankie's a shot.

Well, some of you that are leaving these great reviews of Frankie's, well... you should really get out more and go experience what great pizza is. Frankie's Pizza is one of the absolute worse pizzas we have ever had. I have had frozen pizzas from Aldi's better than Frankie's.

I seriously cannot find one good thing to say about this pizza. It was all around horrid. Absolutely no flavor, and just horrible. It was like eating paper. Not one person in my house ate more than 2 slices. We threw over half of a large in the trash, along with a complete second large one that we never even opened the lid on thr box of.

We will never be back. Pathetic. I am even more disappointed in the reviews here on Google. The reviews were the reason we decided to give Frankie's a go to begin with. I now have trust issues with...

I can't say anything about the product because I didn't make it that far. Having never tried the place, I called and simply asked, "Do you have any specials?" I was greeted with a snarky-toned "They are on our menu, do you want help reading it?" I should have hung up right there but, hearing good reviews, I pressed forward. I then asked "I heard you had something about a $10 pizza deal." After about 45 seconds of talked to the manager, he replied "I guess we do still have it but only on hand tossed pizzas." I have heard great things about their thin crust so I inquired "So is there anyway that applies to thin crust?" After hearing a reply of "I said hand tossed, didn't I? You need a coupon for anything else," I decided to take my business elsewhere. It comes back to the old saying, "It's not necessarily what you say, it's how you say it." Plenty of other good local chains that will merrily accept my questions and...
