Visited yesterday while waiting to get my hair finished at a salon right by, invited a friend to join me and was very disappointed. Sat at the bar to eat, had to request menus at 1230pm during lunch rush, after I advised I would be meeting someone for lunch. Bartender seems dazed and confused. We let her know our checks would be separte, had to request it later on because she forgot the request, along with our drinks, and where we sat. Went to the patio to smoke, left belongs at the bar in our seats, found our soup 2 seats down when we returned. Then the bills were incorrect with additional food added. Not to mention, location was not busy and once we requested our checks after waiting almost 35 mins for a Ruben and roast beef sandwich, bartender then continued to carry on a conversation with another customer about customers complaining about her and I literally had to ask "can we pay you?" To which we then got incorrect bills. To add even more fuel to the fire, when I called the location later in the day to speak to management about the situation, the same employee informed me it was hit or miss to find a manger for me to speak to but she could take a message. Very disappointed as this location came HIGHLY recommended by a local and loyal customer. Food was okay but wasn't very fresh. Pretty sure it sat under a light while the bartender stuffed her lunch down her throat behind the bar, while we waited 35mins for 2 simple sandwiches. Had the location been busy I would of understood, but there were 4 other tables in the place between 1230-1330. I would imagine lack of business during lunch in such a busy area, could be directly attributed to this bartenders horrible service. Will try the location again possibly if there is another option...
Read more(two and a half stars really) This is a unique spot that has to find its identity. It needs to decide if it is a family bar/restaurant or a bar with food. This is our 4 th time here. The food here is way over priced for basic quality items. It seems they use the cheapest and put a premium price on the menu.( I mean a meat lovers pizza for $23 seriously??) The best thing we had was the bacon cheese fries. The chicken Cordon Blu was VERY dry rubbery and grisly. The balsamic dressing is the worse we have ever had, it is like they added a bunch of oil to it. The skins ($10 for 4!) Were not even close to good. The bar has a good selection of draft beers that come almost cold depending if you get a warm mug or not. Service is a bit slow unless you have Anthony! He is a real super star!!! Ask for him under the name 'Billy Bob'. They don't have a real TV system either. No NFL or NBA package as is spectrum. They had a Steelers game on the smart TV with fubu but did nothing but buffer. The sound system is lacking from poor ceiling speakers instead of the touch tunes which has a Bose system they offer with the jukebox. The owners need to decide if they want a bar or a restaurant and if they want to actually spend money as it seems they are cheap. I think a bar would be great here. We will be back for Anthony at the bar. If he wasn't there we would not have come back. We are from out of town and come here 9-12 times a year and want a casual...
Read moreAt the time of posting, I have only dined on the premises(front deck) once. Everything else has been carryout. I have considered a drink at the bar while waiting, but chose not to be a driving target leaving a tavern, for law enforcement. The patio visit was friendly, fulfilling, and a decent value. Granted we were drinking the special of the day factors that value. We are a fan of the Miata Pizza. The flavor is a standout for us. Usually it's just a greasy taste for a meat pizza. Could be the pepperoni, the sausage, the sauce, I don't know. But it sure is tasty. The crust is Ohio thin and square cut. I have always ordered the crust well done to support that mega mound of toppings. I also ask for extra sauce. My last visit resulted in what may be less than normal amount of sauce. I wouldn't mention it if I hadn't been charged for the extra sauce. That was a first. No problem. I never asked for anything for free. When I called in to let them know that the kitchen may be dropping the ball on orders, I was greeted with a kind response. Of course they asked if I wanted to come back tonight. Since I don't indulge in that meat spectacular often, she just took down my name for a future visit to make it right. We will return, and sometime dine in, with the company of a designated...
