Creekside Park & Arboretum — Attraction in Mifflin Township

Creekside is a fantastic place for people (and dogs!) of all ages. I've been visiting Creekside for over two decades now and the improvements over the years have only enhanced the experience. The (free!!!) parking garage makes parking so seamless unlike some places. There are various restaurants nearby that you can walk to or you can bring a picnic to eat by the fountains. ⛲️ The paths around the park range from short to long so you can choose a distance comfortable for you. I like walking to Friendship Park when I want to go on a longer walk. 🏞 There are paddle boats that can be rented (unsure of the hours) for a small fee.

Overall, beautiful place to take photos and great spot...

We packed a picnic lunch and went to Creekside Park in Gahanna before heading to my mom’s house. There’s free parking in a garage next to the park. We loved it! It’s so gorgeous!! For $10 you can rent a kayak or paddle boat for 30 minutes and head down Big Walnut Creek. From there you can walk their path for miles. Check it out!

We had such a fun day! First, we parked in the free parking garage. Then, we walked to the water fountain and ate a packed lunch. Several tables with shaded umbrellas to pick from. I had my stroller and the path is stroller friendly. We looked the creek and even went "creeking". I brought water shoes And buckets for the kids to play. The public restrooms were close by and had a very large family restroom that everyone was able to change into dry clothes. It was a great learning opportunity to explore all the wild...
