Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Milford

Check this out, I go in order the 2 for 20 special that you guys have going on and I got to choose an appetizer. I chose boneless wings, I told the server I wanted barbecue sauce on my wings, she said I'm sorry I only have the classic sauce that I can put on the side for you and I said do you have barbecue sauce and she said yes I said well why can't you coat my boneless wings with the barbecue sauce why does it have to be on the side? she said she would go back and ask. so she comes back and says unfortunately we can't do that we can't put barbecue sauce on your boneless wings we can bring them to you dry and you can put the sauce on them. what sense does that make that makes? no sense to me but whatever I figured she was new I figured what the hell I'll just dip my Wings. I had also asked for ranch dressing not blue cheese and she brings me out blue cheese. I had also asked that I didn't get my food all at once. like I got an appetizer in the beginning my food and then dessert if I wanted dessert. well I got it all at once!! And I find that to be so messed up . When you order an appetizer and entree there should be time for you to eat your appetizer so as soon as she brought my appetizer out to my table somebody else was right behind her with my food and my kids food and my other friends food like it just really really sucked!! Then and I had asked for a refill on my soda. Well that never happened. Needless to say it wasn't pleasant at all I think I should have just went to Chick-fil-A, at least there I would have gotten it's my pleasure to take care of you and they would have went above and beyond with my 7$ fast food meal. Like we already live in a small town of Milford Delaware and there isn't a lot of places to go out and eat at and you would think that Applebee's being the big-name that it is that they would have some type of unity and there just wasn't. I do really enjoy coming out and getting a burger from you guys you guys really do have some good burgers but the service really needs Improvement and I guess the kitchen needs Improvement to since they can't put barbecue sauce on...

Late night haven't ate yet and applebees is open until 11pm and it's almost10pm so my grandfather and I stop in. Once seated we are greeted by Cassie and recieved drinks. I work in a restaurant and to see Cassie with a smile and still glowing even though she is at the end of her shift personally is what made my visit here exceptionally well. Not only was Cassie in great spirits but she was also very knowledgeable and gave her own honest options of menu selections. Asked about the coleslaw because I am picky and like a slightly sweet slaw and she gave me the honest run down and told me I'd be pleased and she was absolutely correct. Coleslaw was great. Not bland or watered down. Went well with the ribs and mac and cheese. However I can have the best plate in front of me and if the service is not as good as the food then i don't come back. I will drive from rehoboth and pass the location within walking distance to me just to go back to this location for 2 reasons. The 1st being Cassie because the level of service I received was exceptional and well beyond what I've seen from others in similar situations. The 2nd is because this location still has the pretzels and beer cheese sauce. For a reason unbeknownst to me the Rehoboth Beach location no longer serves them even though both locations are owned my the same entity. Food aside I'm writing this because Cassie gave her all at the end of what was a long hard shift and to be in the final hour of your day after dealing with all the little nit picky individuals that dine out, myself included, I applaud you. A couple of us went back to Applebee's in Milford for a late lunch. Everything was great and the place was not crowded.

*They have a new "Big Easy" menu with some great looking dishes. (See pictures) It says limited time. I'll probably try one of those dishes on my next visit if it's still available.

We went to Applebee's in Milford, Delaware, for lunch on a Friday. We returned for a second visit on Monday.

We were seated immediately, and a server came over to take our drink order. The server was very pleasant, and she was very attentive throughout our visit.  She took our order, and we received everything just as we requested.

We ordered burgers from The Really Big Meal Deal. Our meals included a Big Classic Bacon Cheeseburger along with Fries and a Soft Drink. *I highly recommend one of these meals; they are a great value and very filling!

After a short wait, our food arrived.  All of the food was hot. Each food item was well-prepared and delicious. The burgers seemed to be cooked a little 'smash style', which caused the edges to be slightly charred. Everything was really good, which made this a great lunch experience.

The servers were under- staffed, but our server (Brittney) did an awesome job!

Our second visit was just as satisfying. Three of us ordered 2 items from the special menu, plus 1 of their handcrafted burgers. Each of our items was well-prepared and arrived as ordered. Our food was very good, which helped to make this a great lunch outing!
