I’m so thrilled this place has re-opened under new management with a delicious new menu! I can’t wait to sit with friends on the outdoor patio when it gets warmer. It overlooks Milford Harbor-beautiful view. There is something here for everyone in my family-little ones, meat eaters (obviously), vegans and vegetarians (roasted veggies are amazing!). I’m slightly embarrassed to admit I’ve eaten there 6 or 7 times since February. In my defense, the super abundant parking makes it really easy to go there -WAY easier than many downtown Milford spots. So I can also park, eat and it’s a 2 minute walk to the green for shopping or craft fairs. I especially appreciate Diego and Daiana’s warmth and hospitality. They remembered me the second time I came and even welcomed two of my groups to have small meetings in their space. They are super kid friendly. They have a nice bathroom with a changing table and they even have a cozy window seat and games to help keep kiddos entertained. I’m just so happy they have brought such a joyful new energy to Milford. I hope everyone stops by to say hello and welcome them to our Little City with the Big Heart. For a sweet tooth, try the flan or an Dulce de Leche filled Alfajors or chewy chocolate chip cookies. The savory stacked ham and cheese sandwich de Miga is great cold OR toasty warm. We take extra home to pop in the toaster for a quick breakfast. I also recommend the cold Galvanina (Italian soda, many flavors). They are SO refreshing and not as syrupy sweet as regular soda. I haven’t seen them anywhere else so now we always take a few of...
Read moreA fantastic meat eaters experience if you love parrillada. Staff was quick and informed of the menu and fast with drinks. Started with empanadas, pictured was the beef, which was a firmer less buttery crust with a seasoned filling. Visible olives. Didn’t see much egg though may have been dispersed into the grind. Ordered the Parrillada chimichurri for the table which came with three sides. Of the meats, everything was well seasoned and cooked thoroughly. Ordered medium but everything sort of over cooks eventually on a heated metal platter. For the adventurous, its rare to see good blood sausage and tripe/sweetbreads. For the less adventurous, stick to the steak and chicken. Wouldn’t mind having 1-2 less sides if it meant the parrillada came with chimichurri, which felt oddly missing from the experience. Granted gorging on unsauced meat is fine, it felt odd to just have ketchup on the table. Something sour and light would have been nice to cut the overall heavy meal, as all side options are either fried or have quite...
Read moreI tried their food around 2022 when they first opened and I remember I was a little bit disappointed. Recently, I thought I would give it another try and unfortunately my experience was even worse than the last time. My wife called in to order takeout on the phone and was informed that the food would be ready in 20 minutes. We arrived after that time and I still had to wait 15-20 minutes, which made me think that they actually started making food when I got there. Nonetheless, we brought the food home and noticed that Revuelto de Gramajo was nothing like on their website: no onions, no red peppers, the egg was still runny. "Fried potatoes" were basically soggy fries. Chicken cutlets where also not good - very soggy from all the oil. It's not very often I leave a negative review and the owner seems to have created some kind of a community there so good for him, however I will leave this place for other...
