The Village Cafe — Restaurant in Milford

My wife and I were the only ones in the restaurant, and there was one person working. It took forever to get our food, and it came out one by one (even the drinks), so we didn’t get to enjoy our meal together. Not sure how they would have been able to serve multiple customers at once in a timely manner if other customers were there.

Altogether, we ordered seven items. Two of the items we ordered came out incorrectly (our waffle order was a crepe, and even after clarifying twice, the fruit in the açaí bowl wasn’t what we ordered).

That said, all the food and drinks were delicious, otherwise we wouldn’t be coming back. Hopefully the service is better next time. Not that she wasn’t friendly, but she clearly needed help that...

I absolutely love this little gem of a food and drink spot! Not only is the menu delicious and diverse, but it's also incredibly child-friendly. My toddler had so much fun playing in the little play area with toys and books. I highly recommend trying their smoothies, waffles, crepes, baked goods, and cold brew coffee - everything we've tried has been absolutely scrumptious. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with an open design that makes it feel spacious yet intimate at the same time. I may have walked in here with my expectations a little high. This is my first visit here and I will be trying it again but as of right now its a 3 out of 5 for me. The creamed filled crepe that I ordered was pretty good but I was expecting to see a noticeable layer of cream in the crepe. As it was I had to look hard between the layers to see any. I also ordered a black coffee. I have been drinking coffee a long time , so believe me when I say it tasted like rewarmed instant coffee. Hopefully my next trip...
