Kinda pricey but good. Looks like it's family owned.
Food: I like the concept of having bibingka in a cupcake or donut form. My favorite is the Ube Flan bibingka and Salted Caramel. The bibingka cake is not too sweet so you can really taste the toppings. But I think the traditional way is better. Maybe because traditionally bibingka is wrapped with banana leaves which enhances the flavor. If you want to taste the different flavors, order the minis for $18. Skip the empanadas they're not worth the price. I didn't like the taste but it's fresh. The coffee is good.
Atmosphere: Clean and bright. They have three small tables, a couch and two chairs positioned like a living room. The have a high bench table with two seats but they can add two more. The restroom was clean.
Service: It was fast and they were friendly. You pick up your order at the counter.
Parking: Easy, lots of street parking. The location is...
Read moreI ordered a black sesame latte and it turned out horrible. I've tasted other black sesame lattes in other stores and this is the first one I've encountered that was super bad. The guy was nice and he seems to be working alone. I got a pastrie and it was ok. This is my second visit here so I decided to get a drink for the first time here and unfortunately it didn't deliver. I also notice this trend where if a place is offering so many random food items that dont fit the theme, it means the store is doing bad. Like the store seems like its suppose to specialize in asian patterns but randomly sells Italian spread and Hispanic empenadas which means they are trying to desperately sell something at the cost with quality. Also see how the black sesame was all at the bottom and got seperated which is weird and...
Read moreVery disappointed 😞. No ube flan. Bought the ube coconut pie to try. Warmed it up as instructed. The pie crust was soggy, has little ube flavor. The only positive was that it’s not overly sweet like the usual American counterparts. Also bought a churro caramel cupcake. Nice texture, not too sweet but no flavor. Nothing that resembles churro nor caramel. Mango Bliss shaved ice is mostly ice with sugar and artificial flavored mango jelly bites. There was, maybe, one tablespoon worth of real mango. This is the first time I tried this place, not sure if this is the normal quality or the quality is going down. BTW, one of those ube coconut pie cost a whopping $54 😱. I was soooo glad I only bought 1 slice to try. All 3 items were way overpriced for the quality. The shop is bright and appears...
