It’s a sunny, bistro-style cafe where you order first then seat yourself. Very fun and extensive menu leaning heavily on the breakfast items with something for everyone.
We got the Homerun Breakfast sandwich which we loved. Buttered, toasted sourdough sliced bread + fluffy folded eggs + spicy jalapenos and siracha aoli + 2 types of stretchy cheese. 10/10!! (we ordered it with bacon on the side to make it vegetarian). The hashbrowns are the softer, fluffier kind with a thin crisp edge — which are exactly the kind I prefer over the thin, crunchy hashbrown-type — so more bonus points from my end.
We also shared the oatmeal pancakes with lingonberry sauce. Nice texture on the pancakes, but they came a tad burnt on one side which I assume was a one-off error. Otherwise, they felt like a hearty and healthy choice that we enjoyed. 8/10 We had hoped they’d have a similar texture to the oatmeal pancakes from Alana’s in Burlingame since photos looked similar, but Alana’s still has the better, chewier texture.
We came here around 1:15 pm on a Sunday and was able to snag the last free table, but it began clearing out about 15 mins later so I imagine we hit the tail end of...
Read moreIt is great and refreshing to have a really good cafe. I had the chicken club sandwich. I have to say it was really good. The chicken breast was not dry and had a great flavor on it. The bacon was cooked correctly- which seems hard for places. It came with the thin French fries and a side salad. The dressing was just right and tangy. The menu has a good array of foods which is perfect. Just enough of type of foods you couldn’t get tired of. Well done cafe-...

I'm a big fan of noodles and dumplings, but it's great to have some variety in the few walkable downtown blocks. My wife enjoyed a nice cheese steak sandwich, and I was happy with my biscuits & gravy. It can be an obstacle course to get to the restrooms at peak times when a line of people are crowded at the counter to...
