Got lunch here at the tail end of their lunch rush this past Friday. I saw that they were busy but I had gotten my order for a Raider sandwich before another rush of customers. Unfortunately, the folks behind the counter made at least four other customers’ sandwiches before mine, so I was stuck waiting for a bit. I asked for ETA on my sandwich and was met by rudeness and excuses that they were busy, and the owner telling his employees to make my sandwich because I was “unhappy”. Yes, I was getting hangry and needed my food but didn’t need the condescension. Owner’s son was apologetic enough but didn’t make up for the rudeness of the owner. I was trying to support a local business but not with this attitude. A simple “sorry, your food’s coming right up” would’ve been good. Sandwich wasn’t bad but I don’t think I will...

This quaint little cafe needs to be on the map of PLACES TO MUST EAT in SF. I missed my morning breakfast at my hotel & was just walking by this cafe - the warm setup took me inside & what followed was probably one of the best breakfast experiences of my life

Aaki (the restaurant lady) heard me out & put in a good 15 minutes cooking me their International Deli Sandwich. So different from the impersonal NY deli experiences. Every bite of this beautiful looking sandwich was just out of the world - eggs cooked to perfection, bacon that was packed with flavor & the pork sausage that was just outstanding.

I can’t wait to visit SF once again & come eat here....

I go here to support a local business, and appreciate their fresh food. They're generous with the sandwich meat as well. However, half the time my sandwich comes out incorrect. I don't know why, but if I ask for no tomato, the ladies don't give me lettuce either. This has happened a few times. Please, I want the lettuce! They also don't give much of the other add-on veggies you pay for. I just want a balanced sandwich that isn't necessarily all meat. But again, they're friendly and convenient, so I'd prefer to go here instead of Lunardi's, but they make it difficult sometimes when I can't always depend on getting a simple sandwich made with simple...

I'm embarrassed to admit that I lived in Millbrae for 23 years and had never had Leonardo's until now, after having moved out of state. This place is AMAZING! I ordered the Raider on sourdough and not only are the sandwiches massive, but they are so flavorful. I usually find pesto to be somewhat bland but with this sandwich, your mouth is assaulted by garlic and I'm so here for it. Delicious! This place is now an absolute staple for me whenever I come back to visit.

Finally had the chance to try this sandwich spot located in downtown Millbrae. I walked up to the counter and was greeted quickly. One of the employees asked what would like so I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bagel bun. The place is well-organized and has a wide selection of different sandwiches to choose from. The sandwich was delicious and I would come back again.

walking in to this store is already an experience! this amazing smell of fresh cooked food from the back of the store, a bunch of old men laughing and chatting each on his on table with a coffee in their hand, Frank Sinatra over the speakers and the “Sir, what I can get you” with an italian accent spoken. I love it.
