The only problem I have with this place is that I have to go back all the time over and over and over again because the people at the window where they give you the food don't check to see that it says diet so I get these drinks all the time that are pure sugar and then I leave a drink some of it I have to come back by this time my blood sugar is 300 and you know I mean it's not good it's unhealthy. Between my wife my daughter and myself we added it up with our bank that we spend anywhere from 3000 to $4,000 a year combined at this place. Because lately I've been asking for two to three cups of ice with my meals and my drinks- the iced coffee and ice T's the ice melt so quick- I was told that I am only limited to one cup of ice per meal or purchase. It's a little cup of ice and the miniature come on move since they open the place the owner I've known since he was a little girl working for her father who owned the place let these type of things happen. So we've taken it on ourselves to go out of our way and go to other stores instead of buying stuff at this McDonald's any longer. I mean everything is gone up in price and we're low income people and we Faithfully go to this location over 50 years. Well no longer are we going to tolerate this people need to boycott this type of establishment if they don't care about their long-term customers. I hope other people...
Read moreI recently had an experience at McDonald's that was far from the quick, tasty meal I was hoping for. After braving a crowded restaurant that smelled like a mix of old fryer oil and too-strong cleaner, I placed an order for a Quarter Pounder with cheese. The place was chaotic, and it was clear from the get-go that my burger might take a while. Sure enough, after a 20-minute wait filled with mix-ups and forgotten orders, mine finally made it to me. But the disappointment was just beginning.
The bun on my Quarter Pounder was inexplicably soggy, as though it had soaked up all the humidity in the room, and the patty was a sad sight: overcooked yet somehow still lukewarm. The cheese, which I had been looking forward to, hadn't even properly melted and just sat there, cold and uninviting. To top it off, the fries were just as lackluster - lukewarm and barely seasoned.
It was a meal that somehow managed to be both unremarkable and entirely unforgettable, for all the wrong reasons. It led me to make a swift exit and resolve to steer clear of this particular McDonald's location in the future. Definitely not the fast-food experience I...
Read moreI love that the front door is open and a friendly employee plus equally nice manager take the orders, then you pay, and of you go with your ticket number, over to the left side, where another employee or two, serve you the meal(s) in a timely and polite manner. Of course we are ALL still wearing masks!!! You can even ask for extra ketchup without receiving looks that make one feel guilty for existing. No; seriously; I love the fast service! The quality of the food, has gotten better. From a "mediocre" state, to "actually good". They also have an online order option. But that one needs a little improvement, according to experiences of friends and a relative, who ordered, and when getting to McDonald's it was never received, but the Card payment Department had no problems subtracting the sum owed for the grub... But the manager on duty promptly filled the order no problem! Not every McDonald's has this. But the one in Millbrae has this "semi walk-in" convenient feature. They "rock" that...
