Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Millburn

Hands down Haagen-Dazs ice cream is the highest quality of ice cream that there is. It truly is in a class of its own. However when it comes to their soft serve it lacks substantially in comparison to their other ice cream but only a few places can stand out with their soft serve ice cream. Those being Carvel or DQ. Haagen-Dazs is also well known for their ice cream cakes which typically consists of two flavors that the customer picks and they will make the cake out for you either 6in, 10, or a 12 in cake. The prices on all the Haagen-Dazs products are very expensive especially in comparison to the market of their competitors. The price is very justifiable which is why I constantly spend the extra few dollars on the luxury product and I get far less in terms of quantityperiod and comparison if I got Breyers ice cream I would get four times the amount and pay half the price of Haagen-Dazs but the quality is nowhere near that of Haagen-Dazs.

In terms of the customer service their employees are very friendly. They tend to be high school students and are always very friendly especially considering on any given time on the weekend the ice cream parlor is jam-packed and they have the patience to deal with parents and kids screaming at what they want. Just dealt with a horribly rude lady. I walked in to pick up pre ordered cake. Bad timing for me as she was dealing with a large group of kids. I waited by the register patiently until she was close by and I said “whenever you got a chance, I need to pick up a cake”. She said 2 minutes to me.
