We had to wait an hour for our breakfast. There were three of us when the place wasn't that busy. We all ordered a different kind of eggs benedict. One traditional, one with American bacon, and one Philly. Two of them sat in the window long enough for the sauce to create a skin, crack, and be cold. Most of the eggs were overcooked with the yolks either broken or solid, none of the pouring out of the egg that you'd expect from an eggs benedict. The service was not great. The waitress didn't communicate with us until we were about to walk out because we had been waiting so long. People came in after we ordered and were served before us. A second waitress came to our table, she was polite, but made some excuses as to why we got our food so much later than other people. As a former chef, that's not how you do business. Tickets are filled in the order they are given, not by preference. We won't be going back to Butchs. This has happened every time we go. The woman cashing us out wouldn't even speak to us. She was rather rude. No "hello" after I said hello to her and no "have a nice day" or "we're sorry for the inconvenience" when I politely said "thank you" for my receipt and card back.

Our waitress Linda was amazing. Loves her themed bacon and eggs earrings. It's a seat yourself place, so we had to wait while someone left and then for the table to get cleaned. Others , we noticed, didn't follow the general polite way of waiting in line while the tables were cleaned. Appreciate the patriotic theme. We are an Army veteran family and it made us smile. Our food was very good. Glazed French toast, mini breakfast with a side of sausage gravy & the big breakfast with eggs potatoes and a side of biscuits and gravy. Oh my. The coffee smella delicious but we didn't have any. The TV/ music was a little load but tolerable. Bathroom was out of order, this was problematic. Thanks for providing a great meal. Highly recommend. 🍳🥓🥚🍞🥞🥔

We were in town for my father-in-law’s funeral. I called Thursday to see if, on Friday am, they could accommodate about 15 family members. Nicole spoke to the cook and confirmed that they would be ready for us. WELL, it ended up that over 25 of us showed up. Not only was the service FANTASTIC but the cook ensured all our meals were hot and exactly how ordered! I wish I knew his name but Nicole served all of us w great professionalism and Jennifer was assisting as well. It was an emotional trip but terrific memories were made that morning. I’m very grateful for the grace of the staff and the surrounding patrons. I trust they understand how precious this time was for us.

This was my second visit. My 1st visit was okay nothing out of this world, not overwhelmed or underwhelmed, I got what I asked for. This 2nd visit though has left me questioning if I will return. I ordered the sausage gravy over biscuits, 2 eggs and Butch's potatoes. I received my order and the biscuits were so hard on the bottom that I could not cut through them with my knife. I tried to eat them but could not. I addresses the issue with my waitresd and she responded, (paraphrased) yeah, that happens with the biscuits we can't be sure if they are going to be hard on the bottom or not. She offered to bring me another, second one brought out was clear that it had been microwaved the dish was hot, could tell because the steam was just rolling off of it. I waited for it to cool down. This second one I will say was a little better but still very difficult to cut through. Not impressed, I just did not eat them. The eggs were ok. The potatoes were not impressive, those were dark and a bit on the hard side. I will say though my sister had ordered fries with her sandwich and the fries were great. In my opinion it is my belief that the biscuits are not fresh and then microwaved to reheat. Not a good combination. As for the service, I will say the waitress was friendly bonus. Her response time was slow and that would be understandable if it were busy but it was not. She offered to refill my drink and it was about 15 minutes before she returned the same for my reorder. I did not understand how either thing could take so long. The atmosphere was average not good or bad. This experience makes me question if I will return. I like to give places a good try but this experience has left me...

This was my first time eating here. I ordered the hearty breakfast. We waited almost an hour for our food. When it arrived my potatoes were cold and the bacon tasted rancid. I had to wait another 10 minutes for my hotcakes to be done. I told the waitress that unfortunately the bacon tasted rancid and she apologized and took my plate to make a new meal. She returned with hot potatoes but the bacon still smelled/tasted rancid. She apologized again, went to the kitchen which was in my direct line of site and well within earshot, and complained to her coworkers “They said the bacon was still bad but they didn’t even try it,” then 3 staff members turned to stare at us. They removed the bacon from our bill which was kind. The servers scrape the plates into the garbage right near the entrance, in direct site of most of the tables and don’t wear gloves or wash their hands afterwards. Overall I am unfortunately...
