First off, the donuts are always great! My situation has to do with customer service over product. My family and I just went through the drive-thru and ordered 3 donuts. That is it. They told me to pull around and they would give me my total at the window. We had to wait a bit in line, which isn't that big of a deal. When we pulled up to get our order, no one even had put the order in in first place. It took a bit to sort that out, then the young lady at the window took my money (without ever telling me the exact amount-I figured it was in the $3.00 range because I have gotten donuts before, so I gave her a $5.00 bill). She gave me the donuts and then handed me my change. She tried to dump it in my hand with coins on top which made the money go everywhere outside the car. I asked if she wanted me to pick the money up and she shrugged her shoulders and said "That's been happening all day, the customers keep dropping their change." I was taken back by her response and honestly thought she would try to offer my change again. When that didn't happened she said bye closed the window. I never received a receipt in my hand or in the bag, (or was offered one) so I don't even know her name. I visit this location weekly, and was saddened with her lack of professionalism (which I usually see). I am posting this within the half hour, so hopefully if someone does see this, they can train that particular drive-thru employee a little better about customer service and...
Read moreStood at the counter with no one ahead of me in line with no one taking my order for close to 15 minutes. It took them that long to serve the two people at the other end of the counter one of which only received one drink. I let them know I was there to pick up a doordash order and they told me that it was canceled 👍 They should let doordash know these things before people waste fuel and time trying to see e their customers that may not be able to get to the location 👍 Will never go here again, for doordash or myself.
Update: I just waited in the Drive-Thru for over 30 minutes because they are understaffed. When I got to the window, just a small area that I could see, there were seven employees working. Does it sound like they are understaffed to you? It doesn't to me. As a doordash driver I see a lot of restaurants and seven employees is more than just about any other restaurant I visited in the last year! I don't know if it's laziness, po or management or if there's something I'm missing, but I don't think I am. It may even be lack of management. Either way I've decided I won't be returning to this location for personal ordering or doordashing. If you don't have an extra 30 minutes to kill don't visit this restaurant, please. Go somewhere that actually cares, example: any other restaurant. You could even make donuts at home faster than ordering them and waiting...
Read moreUpdate 12/7/19: I have again tried this location a few times in hope it has improved over the year only to be left disappointed. Each Iced Macchiato w/Caramel Flavor is so bitter I cannot drink it. This has happened each time I have gone over the past few months. They have corrected the coffee ground problem it seems, however, it still is a waste of time and money since I cannot drink my drink. I have absolutely no problem at the Upper Peach Street location with the ones I get there being sweet and delicious. I just think I will be giving up entirely on this location. If you’re an iced macchiato person, look elsewhere. There’s a Starbucks down the street.
Previous review 2018: Gone several times to this location over the past several weeks only to typically leave empty handed and have to go somewhere else. A few times they were out of cold brew, then when I asked for an iced macchiato the espresso machine wasn't working. When I tried it again today, I did get my iced macchiato but it has coffee grounds all through it and it's very bitter. I think this is the final straw for this location for me. I'll just drive a bit further down the road to Starbucks where my drinks are never out of stock and always delicious. On a side note, the Peach Street location never has...
