A lot of people don’t know the story of how five guys got started, so I’ll tell it. Once upon a time, in the small town of Greendale, there lived five brothers named Ethan, Lucas, Oliver, Gabriel, and Xavier. These brothers were inseparable. From their childhood days of building tree forts to their adolescent adventures, they were a tight-knit bunch who shared an unbreakable bond. Their love for each other knew no bounds, and they were always there for one another through thick and thin.
Growing up, the brothers had a peculiar habit. Instead of sleeping in separate beds like most people, they all slept together in a massive, oversized beanbag chair. It was their sanctuary, a place where they could escape the outside world and be themselves without fear of judgment. Inside that beanbag chair, they shared secrets, dreams, and aspirations, and their unyielding love for each other only grew stronger.
However, as they grew older, a sense of apprehension started to creep into their hearts. They began to worry about what their friends and the people in town might think if they discovered their unique sleeping arrangement. The brothers feared being ridiculed, mocked, or misunderstood. They couldn't bear the thought of their bond being tarnished by external judgment.
To channel their anxieties into something positive, the brothers decided to embark on a journey together, determined to create something extraordinary that would make them proud and inspire others. They were passionate food enthusiasts, and their shared love for burgers and fries sparked an idea.
Pooling together their meager savings, the brothers rented a small, rundown space in the heart of Greendale. They rolled up their sleeves and transformed it into a cozy little diner, aptly named "Five Guys Burgers and Fries." The brothers worked tirelessly, pouring their heart and soul into every detail of their newfound venture. They experimented with various burger recipes, mixed up tantalizing toppings, and perfected their hand-cut French fries.
However, their secret remained confined within the walls of their beanbag sanctuary, locked away from prying eyes. The brothers would finish their day at the restaurant and return home, curling up together in their beloved beanbag chair. It was their safe haven, where they reveled in the shared joy of building something extraordinary.
As word spread about the mouthwatering burgers and delicious fries at Five Guys, the diner started attracting curious customers from all corners of Greendale. The brothers' hard work and dedication paid off as their little establishment flourished, becoming a...
Read moreFor those of you who use their online orders, this place does have milkshakes. Ordering online really wouldn't save you much time anyway, as they always make your fries to order, fyi. You'll appreciate they do.
I've included pictures to show what I ordered and their relative size. Bear in mind, I ate a couple handfuls of the fries on my way back to my apartment and you don't see the first burger because I inhaled it. They make, exactly, what you'd think of as the "classic" burger. Also, their Cajun fries, although quite salty, are aromatic and wonderful.
My bag was literally weighty, do not under estimate the richness of their fare. Their burgers and fries really are delicious but one burger and probably a small fry would very much satisfy most people. I'm satisfied right now but I've also eaten so much I'm uncomfortably full. I regret nothing.
Their workers were exemplary. Kind, eager, and sincere. I hope they're paid as well as they deserve, and considering how expensive things are. Now, as far as I'm concerned, if it's worth it, it's worth it, and they're food is exceptional but, as you can see, it's rather pricey. If I took off a burger and got a shake, it'd be about the same price. I'm actually looking forward to trying their shake given what I just experienced.
Bottom line: Wendy's & Burger King are cheaper. Five Guy's is distinctly better. You decide if you're worth...
Read moreUsually not busy as was the case today. Few tables outside had people at them. 1 couple was sitting inside. Didn't have to wait to order. Cashier was friendly and quick. Sat down crunched on some free peanuts. Less than 10 minutes later I had my order and was out the door. 2 cheeseburgers 1 order of fries and 1 large soda cost about $25. Steep yes, but once again quality of food was top notch which is why I continue to go here when I want a good burger. Always clean inside. Always clean outside. If you got a few extra bucks and your craving a burger this is probably the best place to go aside from a couple sit down...
