I hate to do this, but I had a very bad experience with an employee today. For context, they were really busy, and came out to take my order. I unfortunately suffer from memory issues, so I forgot my wallet. I live 2 mins away so I got out of line to quickly run home and get my wallet. I quickly drove back, was prepared to apologize and explain my health issue, and what happened and offer to pay for my drink. Even if it was given to another customer. But before I could say anything, an employee came outside and started yelling at me. Reprimanding me telling me how rude I was. I didn’t get a chance to apologize, explain, or pay. I was so stunned I didn’t know what to do. Before I left, I could still heard her yelling more inside the cafe, to the other workers about me. I wish I would have been given the chance to explain before yelling at me. The other customers heard everything and it was very embarrassing and unprofessional. I haven’t experienced anything this bad before with customer service, and I wanted to make sure management knew. I called the shop to speak to someone, and try to apologize once more. The same girl answered and actually continued to yell at me, I tried to remain calm. When I asked for management please, said that she was management, and that there was no one else I could talk to, called me rude again and hung up the phone. Read moreI've had a lot of trouble with consistency and taste here (weak, burnt espresso or milk) in the past so I hadn't been getting my coffee through Caffe expresso for a long time. I was in a hurry to my grandsons soccer practice and the place was empty so I figured I'd give it another try and knew it would be quick. I got an iced Latte (this was good) and an Iced Americano for me with half and half and half sweet hazelnut for my daughter. I tipped and left. The Americano was Awful. It literally tasted like water with old watered down coffee. Owning a coffee shop and my daughter a former manager of a successful coffee drive up; we know what an Americano should taste like. We were stuck for two hours. This was all we had to drink so my daughter drank some if hers throughout the two hours. I decided to go back to have them make me another but unfortunately, couldn't go until practice was over. I explained to them that if it was possible to return right away I would have but that I wasn't able. The ice had since melted so the drink was only a little more than a quarter empty at this time. They gave me a hard time replacing it and asked if I let the ice melt. Well, yes, that is what happens when you sit outside in July for two hours. Clearly, my drink was gone, i showed her but, clearly my daughter didn't drink hers.They begrudgingly made it again. Still awful! Customer service is so important. Read moreI've gotten coffee there many times before and I was going to get coffee there today and I was on a phone call so I just decided to finish off my phone call in their little parking lot which only had like two cars in it and like five empty spaces. I didn't want to be talking on the phone while I was ordering my coffee since I was having a pretty serious conversation with somebody. I was parked there for somewhere between 15 and 30 minutes, I'm not sure and this woman comes out and knocks on my window and pretty snarkily and rudely tells me to leave. I don't understand why they wanted me to leave because there was no sign that indicated that you couldn't park there. I was also going to get coffee afterwards but obviously I didn't after that. So I don't think I'm going to give them my business again. I drove down to the Bjorn Brew down the street and finished my call in their parking lot with nobody harassing me and then I spent my money at that coffee shop instead which I will continue to do in the future if I'm in this area.
