Every time I order from this location they mess up my order.
Last Friday I ordered a pizza with a Parmesan crust (which is pretty much the reason I order from pizza hut) and they baked me a pizza with a plain crust, kind of annoying but the rest of the pizza was right and we were starving so we ate it.
Tonight I ordered a Pizza with double mushroom, pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, and red onion with a Parmesan baked crust. I show up to the store a little late and the screen says my pizza is ready, but the kid working the counter told me it would be a minute and scooted off to go sing Michael Jackson with his fellow coworkers. I waited for about 15 minutes before I could get someone back at the front to help me and they said "oh you had the pizza with the wings? Here you go" and gave me a room temperature pizza/wings (even though the wings had cooled a bit they were still really good).
Now you're probably thinking "Will, please check the what is in the box before you go home and reheat it" But for some reason I did not. After I had taken the time to reheat my pizza I opened the box and there was a pizza with double sausage, mushrooms, onion, green peppers, and no pepperoni or Parmesan crust. This being the second time in a week that this location has messed up my orders I took my pizza back to the store so they could make me what I ordered and paid for.
When I opened the box and told the kid what had happened the first thing he did was point to the random bits of mozzarella that had dropped and melted on the crust and said "Thats the Parmesan crust" I have ordered the Parmesan crust many-a-time and that was certainly not the Parmesan crust. I told him what I ordered and he took and my information and dug through a pile of orders to verify that I wasn't lying I guess? Whatever. When he saw that the pizza I presented was not what I ordered he told me "We can make you a new one, should take about 15 minutes... if you want.." haha yes, yes I DO WANT.
The replacement pizza came out in less than the quoted time and looked like it was prepared with care so I took it home to my wife and daughter so we could have our dinner. The pizza was great but one thing that felt either lazy or disrespectful was the fact that the pizza was cut like someone was having a seizure at the same time or had never seen a sliced pizza before. One giant slice the 1/4 size of the entire pie, several small mutant slices, and 1 or 2 normal sized slices. I love pizza hut but 2/5 would not recommend this location. Read moreI have an order confirmation at 11:20 am. The next text I received at 11:27 stated my order was out for delivery. The next text at 11:52 states that the order will be delivered by door dash at 12:15. I called the store at 12:21 to ask about the order. I was told "the fire was out" and the wings were just now being put into the oven. I asked why I was told the order was out for delivery an hour ago, but the wings have not even been cooked yet. The person on the phone told me they do not know why I was told the order was out for delivery. She then asked if I would like to speak with the Manager. I said yes. When the manger got on the phone, they explained that the fire was out, and they could not get the wings into the oven. The order would be complete in a couple of minutes and then would be handed to the door dash driver. I asked why the order was an hour late from when I was told it was out for delivery. The manager got short with me and said there is nothing they could do about the fire being out. I said I would like to cancel the order in the same tone I received. The manager said OK and then hung up on our conversation. I did not receive my food and I was still charged the $49.72. So, either Door Dash or Pizza Hut stole from me. I am telling everyone I know about that store location.
Edit - 10/26/2022 - The Store manager contacted me and offered an apology and a refund. The issues described above happened on Saturday 10/22/22 I left the review on Tuesday 10/25/22 and the manager called me that same day and made it right with an apology and a refund. Read moreI love pizza hut, I have only ordered from this location about 6 times but 2 of those 6 times have been rather disappointing. Today I ordered a meal at 11 and did not receive it until about 2 hours later... understandable, the delivery woman told me that their driver had not shown up so I still tipped very well and told the driver how appreciative I was of her giving me a coupon for a free large pizza of my choice. When I called to retrieve my complimentary pizza the employee on the other line HUNG UP ON ME after I had given my address and phone number before I could even order (Keeping in mind my call had been transferred to the “correct location” FOUR TIMES. When I called back, the man that answered the phone was attentive, understanding, and kind which I appreciated SO much. It upsets me that Pizza hut is the only delivery service that has treated me so unprofessionally, and with such disrespect, due to the fact that I am always OVERLY kind to every retail/restaurant worker I encounter. I have worked as a server and retail worker, I would NEVER treat any customer with such disrespect and disgust. Please, even in regards to your call center, HIRE MORE PROFESSIONAL EMPOYLEES!!
