I have nothing against the food or the employees, but this is the most terrible TacoTime. The drive through can fit 2.5 cars, and you have to order right off of state street. If you happen by here in the middle of the night and they are open (not sure if this is possible), then you may have a wonderful experience. At 1830, it wasn't exactly pleasant. Anything you request will be unintelligible to the person taking your order, and it becomes almost painful to repeat every item on your order three or four times.
One you've gotten your order in (they should read it back to you, which is helpful), take care not to skip the window. It's a tiny window at the back, but don't go around the corner to the window that looks like what you would expect, just stop at the little glass arrow loop at the back corner of the building. It's awkward, just like the rest of the process, but once you've gotten your food, it should be great as always.
Let me know how it goes, as I would prefer to drive another 20 miles just to find any other TacoTime rather than go through this ordering...
Read moreI stopped going here for a while. Because I was being overcharged and then I saw that one day when I came in with a friend that the same people aren’t working there anymore.
I ordered an Uber today because I was really tired and I had a really long week. I had to end up going back for my sides because one they wouldn’t answer the phone. I love their whipped cream, and I love their ranch. I can eat like five of those ranches. they’re not cheap. Out at all the fast food places. I had to go back up there, and I came in and one of the ladies just looked at me and wouldn’t even turn around the other one. They were all Hispanic and I am Hispanic, and the girl looked at me and said how can I help you and then didn’t even speak a lick of English. Then another girl came out and started talking to me and I was like hey you guys I ordered Uber and you didn’t even give my ranch and my whipped cream! If they don’t know what they’re doing I don’t think they should be doing it. If they can’t...
Read moreAbsolutely awful service. Tiny cramped location. Would not recommend, even for drive-thru, which is extremely narrow and practically on the street. Went to this location on the way home from our toddlers appointment and only had a short amount of time to grab food on the way home. After several minutes in the drive-thru and finally the wife going into the lobby, no one at this location could figure out how to accept the digital gift card we purchased from the company itself. How is this acceptable service?! Ended up having to drive home and drop the family off because it was time for the kids lunch, only to leave again and drive all the way out to the West Valley location in order to use the funds that we had spent on gift cards. Fortunately, we got much better service out there. So if you want Taco Time, make the drive...
