Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Millsboro

I’m not usually one to submit reviews unless I have a truly bad experience and this is the case here. I love Jersey mikes and a frequently visit rehoboth and Milford and this locations are usually great. I decided to try millsboro because I was in the area. I placed an online order and arrived at the estimated pickup time. When I walked in there were 3 employees. One behind the counter, one by the grill and one sweeping the floor. I noticed my order wasn’t on the pick up rack and no orders were being prepared so I patiently waited at the register to be acknowledged at the minimum to which I was ignored for 5-8 minutes by all 3 employees and was the only customer in the store. When I finally said excuse me, to the kid behind the counter he replied “yeah what are you here for” I said an online order and gave him my name he said okay I’m making it now and began making my order as well as someone else’s online order as well. He gave me the order and I left. When I got home I realized the order wasn’t made correctly as it was missing 3 of the ingredients I asked for and the quality of the chicken salad itself was poor compared to what I received at the other locations. I contacted the management through the online portal and the next day the manager got back to me and offered a refund and for my next sub to be on him. I tried to give you photos of the entrance to Jersey Mikes, off of the highway. If youre not familiar with this area you'll probably MISS the turn and turn in on the area that totally looks like you're in the right spot...until the parking lot stops just feet from the spot you were supposed to be in. Lol. Im hoping this will offer some type of heads up to those people unfamiliar with the town as i was. NOW...Concerning Jersey Mike's itself, at this location, I have ZERO complaints. I ordered off of the Jersey Mike's app, and I had some notes I had put in the order and the order was made EXACTLY as I asked for it! When i went inside the store to retrieve my order, I immediately noticed how clean the establishment is, and how easy it was to figure out where you needed to be. As in (for me), the pick up station. I called on Saturday for a 2:00 pickup for Sunday, I was paying cash therefore couldn’t order online. 3 giant subs, almost $50. No one knew where my order was at 2:00, finally a guy came in (assuming it was a manager) oh yeah that 2:00 order, laying on the counter….no one had started it. Ok, I’m on a tight schedule but ok. Let me run pick up the other things and illl be back. Ok, I paid and left I was back there 2:20ish, they were done, no apology for lateness, nothing. The subs were so disappointing. Weak, hardly anything on them, they were ordered “mikes way” and had absolutely no taste, they weren’t mikes way. I am on fixed income,$50 was expensive to me But it was a treat for my company while tree trimming went on. All I can say is Never Again. Big disappointment...
