Millsboro Pizza Palace — Restaurant in Millsboro

I walked into the restaurant this morning a few minutes after opening, was promptly seated and told that a server would be with me shortly. A server was not with me shortly, so I went up to the counter and asked the girl working if I could order food from her and just sit at a booth and eat it in. Her response: I told her she had a table, I’m sorry yes you can order from me. I ordered a lunch special and a fountain soda and sat at a booth right by the counter. When my food came up, it was given to me, in a to go box, which is fine. I still sat at the booth and ate my food, and then when I was about halfway done with my lunch, a server, I’m assuming the one who was supposed to be my server (that never showed up at the table), leaned over the counter and told the girl that took my order: if you don’t have time to eat and wait patiently then maybe you should Go to a drive-thru somewhere. I took this as a direct reference to me eating my food in the restaurant from a to go box. As soon as I heard that, I stopped eating, got up from the table and left. MPP used to be one of our places to eat, but the service has gone downhill greatly, this isn’t the first time I’ve been left waiting with no server for a while, including the last time I was there- the server greeted me and took my drink, and then stood at the computer texting on her cell phone for seven minutes before bringing me a...

What a waste of money. We were seated and a random server came by and asked if we had been helped. We stated no and she took our drink order. Seemed irate that we were not ready to order when she brought drinks to the table. We ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, pizza sub with fries and a Turkey Club with fries. After waiting nearly 45 minutes for our food. The buffalo chicken wrap I had to have taken off the bill as it was super dark as though it had been in the fryer way to long. My daughter told me it was way over cooked and cold when we got it. Our server looked super irritated when I told her I was not going to pay for something my child was not going to eat. My boyfriend was not impressed with his pizza sub and stated he has had better everywhere else. My turkey club was ok, I mean hell you cant screw that up. Our server checked on us twice in the hour we were there and she was not very personable. Will not be coming back to eat here, there are plenty of other places to go with better food and...

Great service. I typically grade an Italian restaurant by two things: spaghetti sauce and alfredo sauce. Tonight, I had the spaghetti with meat sauce.

THE BEST SPAGHETTI SAUCE, from a restaurant, I have ever had.

Problems with sauce is it can be too acidic, too sweet, too watery, too thick, too greasy, not enough meat, too much meat, and the list goes on.

Their sauce was perfect by every measure. Just enough sweetness to complement the acidic tomatoes; not eliminate it. Excellent texture and consistency. Enough meat to satisfy the inner carnivore, but not so much that it took center stage from the sauce.

It wasn't heavy with grease as often happens with meat sauce, but wasn't dry and tasteless as if it were overly drained of it's juices.

I can't wait to go back and try the alfredo. If it's even close to the quality of the spaghetti sauce, I will start going out of my way, to come here, to satisfy my...
