I came here on a Saturday afternoon, and it was pretty busy!! Despite being a packed house, it didn't take long to order and getting my food. I really love açaí bowls just because of all the fresh fruit, and smoothie-like base with assorted toppings of fruit and granola.
《Food》 I ordered the Dragon Bowl Z, Beautiful AF, and Blueberry Nice Cream. Both smoothies I got bases of coconut water (cashier recommended too), since I can't drink milk. I honestly really enjoyed eating the bowl, I couldn't finish it so I saved half for later and it was still good by then! I liked Beautiful AF smoothie more than the Blueberry Nice Cream, because it just tasted sweeter. I don't think I liked the hemp granola and flax seed in my (Blueberry Cream) smoothie.
《Customer Service》 The customer service was super! The friendly cashier gave me great recommendations and was patient, since I was struggling on deciding on what to order. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again!
Edit:
My second time here, I was more comfortable in ordering since I got to meet the owners behind RAWSF and understand what they're business really is and how they became a business. It's definitely not your typical açaí/smoothie-joint; what they're business is, is a lifestyle. They made this business because of the lack of healthy places in the surrounding area. They wanted to give people an alternative place to go to and be the convenient plant-based restaurant around. Why go to a McDonalds, when you can get something very healthy (having tons of health benefits) and deliciously refreshing instead?! This time I ordered a Cosmic Dream 2.0 w/out the pumpkin seeds but with goji berries instead. I've tried their DBZ bowl before, so their bowls do not disappoint. I also ordered a Beautiful smoothie w/ coconut water making it sweeter. For some reason, it tasted better than the first time I got it...I really enjoyed the smoothie! And tried their Walnut latte, which really had that natural & nutty/toasty notes to the flavor which made it interesting. I've also never had a plant-based burger before. They use Beyond patties for their burgers, and honestly I couldn't taste the diffence from a meat patty. There was so much flavor, and better yet, I didn't feel that "heaviness" or tired-feeling after eating it. It was so light & tasty, that I wish there was another place close to me...

I like nut butters so I usually a customized bowl consisting of the Raw ASF Acai Blend base with the following toppings. Their acai paste used to be stronger and thicker but it's perfectly balanced now.
Raw almond butter (make sure to specify to mix this into the blend) Roasted diced almond Blueberries Banana
Today during my visit the head chef also let us try their Superfood Pizza, a new item that they will be introducing to the menu shortly. Hands down one of the best pizzas I've had in a while (and I'm a borderline obligate carnivore). The vegan cheese is very light and has a nutty flavor and the crust is thin and crispy. I don't even like salad but I thought the greens they topped it with blended well with the rest of the pizza. The dipping sauce has a small kick to it and is definitely no other pizza place I've been to offers yet. He specified that the pizza has:
Black garlic and goji berry "marinara" Macadamia nut "ricotta" Coconut "mozzarella" Roasted garlic Seasonal microgreens from Farmecology, a hi-tech sustainable indoor farming startup in San Jose. Dipping sauce made of habanero, avocado, cilantro, lime juice
Do yourself a favor and pay this...
Read moreThis review is ONLY regarding the BURGERS. With that out of the way, i'd just like to mention three things.
If you're curious and want to try one of these next-generation meat alternatives (beyond/impossible) I'd advise you to do this: Buy a comparable meatless burger at Carls Jr/BK (for beyond/impossible respectively) for reference. Eat it, figure it out. And then go to Raw, and buy one of theirs. That'll give you an idea of what you can expect at either end...
