When I stepped into the store it felt pretty stuffy because their shop was small but that didn’t really matter if i’m being honest so it’s ok. but when i finished ordering i was a bit confused because it told me to wait for a notification from my phone (i didn’t bring my phone with me so i didn’t know when my drink would be ready). so i just decided to wait and wait until they would call my number (i thought they would) in the end i had to stand up and go over to the line of drinks and guess which one was mine. the drink over all was mid the pearls were hard and the drink was powdery (oreo crème brûlé thingy). when i asked the staff if they accepted cash they replied to me in a rude tone i didn’t like that bcs i asked in a nice way. honestly i was just asking in a polite way like why? over all this experience didn’t rlly hit the spot and there are a lot of good boba places in the bay area so for now on...

Good tea. Good pearl feel. Very streamlined service. Sometimes inconsistent with sweetness levels; 25 feels like 50 a bit too often as of late.

Edit: 2025 from prior 2024 They're skimping on the tea now. It's more watery now and reliant on the sugar.

Also, they're adding sugar syrup to the black sugar boba tea now instead of just using the black sugar syrup.

The Sunnyvale location is marginally better when it comes to tea flavor concentration (June 2025).
