Cousins Subs — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Yesterday my boyfriend and I were having lunch when I heard a young man trying to order, and I could hear him counting change trying to see what he could afford. As he was about to give up and leave I approached and asked if he wants something to eat I'll pay for wantever he wants on the menu. All he ordered was a small drink, small shake, and a fry. I asked him repeatedly if there's anything else he wanted, and he said no. The woman at the counter looked very upset and tried handing me the receipt, but I said to give it to him because it's his order. He sat with my boyfriend and I and was so quiet. He asked a few questions here and there, and was very happy to get his fries and shake. While I was leaving I bought him a $25 gift card and left it to him at the table, again I could tell that the staff was upset. I will point out that he was a young black male with a ski mask on, and a winter coat, and it hurt seeing how the women there were looking at him, when he was quiet, polite, and just wanted to get something to eat. Today my boyfriend was picking up our lunch when he heard the woman at the counter kicking the same young man out, and when he said he has a gift card, she said her GM said he has to spend the gift card at another location. When my boyfriend asked for the reason, the woman at the counter said because her GM said so. My boyfriend said the young man didn't argue just looked out the window like he wanted to cry. I am never going back to this location ever again. I will also add at every point if my transactions I tipped them, thinking they would appreciate to be part of doing something good for a fellow...

It was horrible I had the tuna when I told the staff that it tasted funny they said it was fresh there's nothing they can do they want refund me they wouldn't give me another sandwich I ended up throwing it out and leaving very very upset I believe your standards are higher than this and it was the one on Capitol drive on the Eastside of Milwaukee it was filthy filthy filthy the chip rack was even filthy the place is the nastiest cousins I've ever been in I asked to speak to the manager she told me she literally said too bad so sad I told her I thought her place was very nasty the potato chip rack is filthy and it's potato chips for God's everything around the grill is filthy the whole place is filthy I told the manager she should be ashamed of herself she said go ahead I'll keep my job I ordered a footlong I don't have the receipt cuz I threw it on the garbage I had to watch them make it cuz the place was that filthy I had a short time before I had to get back to work so I couldn't go to the one on Oakland that place is disgusting do y'all need to fire that manager and get some real people in there that want to workI can't believe that a general manager isn't on this it's nothing but ghetto...

Well eating here yesterday me and my girlfriend were enjoying our food when we saw there was a gentleman that was unable to pay for his meal so my girlfriend offered to pay for him bought him a gift card so that he may come back and get something in the future. Today the lead manager at this location informed this poor man that he is not allowed to come into this location and that he has to use the gift card somewhere else because her GM said that she is not allowed to have him back in this location. She further was not able to explain why he wasn't able to come in or spend his gift card...
