I hate leaving bad reviews but my experience quantifies for one. I travel for work. I frequent MKE airport often and get in late so often I will stop at a place nearby to get food. I always get 2 gyros, 1 extra sauce, and 1 baklava. This is what I always get as it totals under 25 dollars for a company expense report. I have been here more times than I can count including a time they forgot about my food and it took 30 minutes to get my food. But that didn’t constitute a bad review as everyone has off days but today’s experience did. Me at the drive thru: hi can I please get 2 gyro sandwiches, 1 extra sauce, and 1 baklava? Man 1: says something about a sandwich, mumbles something about fries Me: 2 gyro sandwiches not the combos, 1 extra sauce, and 1 baklava Man 1: mumbles and then says a total that I don’t hear but I hear a 9 Me: goes up to the window Man 1: your total is 39 (something I forgot cents) Me: I think that’s someone else’s order I repeat my order for a 3rd time. Man 1: you don’t want the beef platter? Me: I didn’t order the beef platter. Man 2: you ordered the beef platter. Me: I didn’t order the beef platter I know as my total is always under 25 dollars. Man 1 and man 2: both look annoyed but flustered as man 1 is trying to cancel the order out Man 3: looks like a manager comes up and says to both 1 and 2 “close the window”. Man 3 looks very blatantly irritated Man 3: well I guess since you don’t want the beef platter we have to send the ticket back Me: I didn’t order the beef platter. I repeat my order for a 4th time and explain maybe there was a misunderstanding but I cannot go over 25 dollars on a company expense and I always get a certain order (which I repeated probably 5 times at this point) which is under 25 dollars. Man 4: brings out my order is visibly annoyed but that’s ok as everyone has bad days. If my order would’ve been wrong I would’ve have had no problem and if I was on my own time I would’ve paid for it on my personal card as I never send food back. However, the blatant disrespect, rudeness, condescension, and gaslighting by all 4 men-especially the manager was abhorrent. Please stop gaslighting your customers like we are some dumb...
Read moreThis restaurant is very neat & clean. I've tried contacting the restaurant for 3 months & the number has a voicemail "that has not been set up yet." Up until 4 months ago, everything was always great here, and then it wasn't. I ordered a Beef Kabob platter with french fries, & they put the fries in the same container with the Beef chunks, laying in the beef juice with the onions and tomato slice, so by the time I got home 40 min. later, the fries were all mushy & disgusting, & there was no Pita bread in there. The next time I went there, I ordered the Beef Kabob Platter with the Greek Salad, and the beef chunks were very red inside, cooked very rare to the point that the juice in the carton was pink, and the salad had 2 pieces of Feta, 3 half slices of cucumber, 3 slices of a bad tomato, & tons of lettuce, with a Salad Dressing that smelled of Oil and had no flavor at all, other than oil. Recently, I thought I'd give one more try, and again ordered the Beef Kabob Platter with the Greek Salad, & this time the beef was a very dark pink inside, too pink, and this salad was such a waste--2 pieces of Feta, 3 chunks of a very bad tomato, 3 half chunks of a cucumber, 3 peppers, 4 olives, and the Dressing was almost nothing but oil again, no taste whatsoever, except of oil. I'm so disappointed because I used to go to this location quite often, at least twice a week, and as of 3 or 4 months ago, this now seems to be the new service, and no way to contact anyone by phone, and the nice young lady at the counter didn't seem to understand what I was trying to tell her in the past. I hope that a manager sees this & starts watching the food going out, because personally, I don't ever eat under cooked meat, and the Beef was never pink in the past--it was always well done, as it should be, and the Greek Salads with the platters were always very fresh & delicious with the best Salad Dressing, but that all changed in a bad way. Thank you for the many years of good food...

I usually just get gyros from this place. The last time I was here, I ordered 2 cheeseburgers for me and my father. The quality of the burgers were not that great; the price of them makes me regret trying them. As someone who has worked at McDonald's and a few restaurants as a cook while in college, the beef patty seemed to me frozen, which was then microwaved and tossed on the grill for grill marks. And this is to say nothing about the flimsiness of the beef patty (might've been 1/4 lbs. of beef at one time). The cheese was not melted on the burger. The presentation of the burger left a lot to be desired--the cheesed patty was dwarfed by the size of the buns. I should've taken a picture of them to post as proof, but we ate the burgers because we ordered them.
If you're craving a burger and wish not to sit in a restaurant for it, there are many, many more places that have better burgers--McDs, BK, Wendy's, etc., etc. They will all have better burgers.
This should not be viewed as a complaint. In fact, I am not complaining about my experience. I've been here over 10 times, and they've all been wonderful experiences. I am simply reviewing the burger of this place in case anyone is thinking about trying it. I will still continue to order their gyros in the future--but no more...
