The was no line in the drive thru when we went at 5:30am on a Wednesday, but the woman on the speaker sounded extremely rushed, regardless. She didn't even have time to greet me or speak clearly. I had to repeat the order 3 times. She was just as pleasant at the window as on the speaker. Again, no line in the drive thru and the dining room is empty. We pull away with a bag of half dozen donuts and 2 coffees and by the time we check our bag, we were 15 minutes away. We had just arrived on a redeye. Do I have to say this? Or do you know where this is going? Yep, she screwed up the order. I was mad. Oh, I was ticked. We went back and I was greeted the same way (non-existently) and asked for the manager and was told to pull to the window. At the window is man and Tweaked Out McGee, standing so close to him, he looked like he wanted to jump out the window and tell us to drive away. He asked what happened. Each time I got 3 words into a sentence, she would interrupt. My first response: "Excuse me, I'm speaking." Second: [to the manager] "I asked for the manager so I wouldn't have to deal with this [as I motion to her]. Third: [I pinched the bridge of my nose cuz I swear, this is a migraine inducing person, working where people start their day in public!] "She's still talking." Dude, he had to send her away. She gave us the wrong donuts and she threw them in the bag on top of each other and the frosting was all over the place. She didn't give us any napkins for the sloppiness she caused, but she did manage to get 2 coffees correct. Should I mention that one of them was black coffee?? Okay, so really, she got ONE coffee correct. The manager takes our order, tells Jumpy Johnson to put them in a box this time (I mean really? She has to be tomd this? That's a level of not thinking I couldn't fathom on anesthesia), double checks her work and smiles and hands me the box. We barely heard a "sorry" after we were told to have a good day. The moral of the story is: Don't go here if you have other options. I'll take Krispy Kreme over this DD and I am not a fan of KK...
Read moreMy experience here has been fairly hit or miss. Sometimes the drinks are made as I asked for them but often they aren't. The wait times at the drive through are generally okay but sometimes I'll sit there for several minutes without so much as a "I'll be with you in a bit".
The reason I was finally motivated to post this review is because of my experience this morning. I chose to go into the store this morning because there was a line of cars at the drive through. As I entered, the woman taking orders at the drive through looked right at me and then without ever saying a word, ignored me for the next 5 minutes. There were a few times I thought she was coming over to take my order only to find she was doing something else. The few times she looked at me, it was almost with a look of disgust.
It was only her and one other employee at the time (my order wasn't taken until another employee literally walked into the store for the start of a shift), so I can understand that it was busy. What's not okay is the way it was handled. All it would've taken was a comment saying they are busy and it might be a few minutes. I really like Dunkin' Donuts and this is the only one accessible during my commute. Unfortunately the experience has been poor enough that I probably won't stop...
Read moreOmg love stopping here I did read some Reviews let me say this as a business owner I’m well known for being super nice friendly but I’m human throughout my career days that I was feeling crabby or in s bad mood I wouldn’t go into work. Now I sell online I must go every day but when I’m in a bad mood I tell customers who show up they need an appointment. I have built an excellent reputation and I can’t have it ruined with one bad review. With that being said the biggest thing that so annoys me from customers is this “ I been shopping here the past 20 years always great today I got less then expected quality and IM NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN! This too me is so ridiculous you mean to tell me you have hundreds of awesome experiences but one bad one your walking away that don’t make sense business owners are human and we can’t find the help we used to have because of our presidents policies Americans don’t want to work for minimum wage in a small business that’s all we can afford. I hopefully I raised some type of awareness NO ONE wants too work anymore I swear too you when your a small business and made $200 a day $100 goes back to buy product your left with $100 to pay bills and employees no one wants to...
