This is my first review ever. But I gotta say my experience tonight was not that good and also not the first time I had a issue with this place. Every time I walk in there it's like I was approaching the popular girls in highschool. I can't get what I want from the kiosk so I have to verbally give my order to them. I do admit I have some adjustments but I'm willing to pay whatever for what I want. So I give my order slowly and repeat myself. But this time the person clearly only heard the first two words then disregarded everything else because they make the drink and put it down. I see there is the cheese foam they put on everything, I'm already annoyed by the fact they were clearly not wanting to be there and making it my problem by acting annoyed by my presence so I just grabbed the drink and left. I wasn't planning on drinking it til I got home but looked at the ticket on the cup and the only thing that was right on it was the sugar amount which was 30%. But Lord when I tell you that when I got home and kicked my feet up to drink this beverage I was looking forward to all day I was met with a drink so sweet it made my teeth hurt that I had to water it down immensely. but honestly there are THREE other boba places within half a mile of this place that are way better. But this is the last chance I'm giving them. Which sucks because my daughter really likes all the kitchy things on there walls and over priced...
Read moreWe tried the strawberry peach smoothie and Mango smoothie. The smoothies melted extremely fast, since the boba was so hot and it affected the taste.
We'd also ordered and paid for 2 buns, but didn't receive them when the smoothies were ready. After I asked for the 2 buns we ordered as well, we were told that they were sold out. Also, that we should check the display on the side before ordering from the kiosk.
This was our first time here and we weren't aware of this. I'd think that the kiosk shouldn't allow customers to purchase products that are sold out. Normally you wouldn't be able to add an item to your cart, if it's no longer available.
She then offered to provide a refund, after I asked about the buns. I just don't understand why I had to ask in order to get the refund. If I didn't say anything, they would've kept the $8 and some change.
Also, the tip is calculated by the total cost, so essentially the tip calculations are incorrect too; Since it factored in the buns we weren't receiving.
Not sure why I even paid a tip, when Noone greeted us upon entry. Plus another patron recieved their order before ours, even though they came in after and ordered at the counter. Also, Noone told us buns we'd paid for were sold out, or proactively offered to refund.
Just a hot mess.
The second star was added because the...
Read moreI've been going since the place first opened up and I was initially obsessed. The drink selection is great, the bakery items are delicious, and, at least for a while, you never had to wait long for your order. However, it seems as though the quality control has gone down since - and it's making me consider taking my business elsewhere. The waits can be ridiculously long despite there being few customers. Half of the time the boba has this odd, half-hardened texture that's incredibly unappealing. Or if you're especially unlucky, you'll get your drink and realize they forgot to add the toppings (even if they already are supposed to come with the drink). I really want to root for this place, especially because the workers seem very nice. But there are two other boba places within walking distance that have good selection and decent prices - and from my experience, I haven't had these...
