First time ever visiting Temple Goddess, never been inside the collective, so I was unfamiliar with any of the restaurants inside this space. I looked outside the glass door for the restaurant name and didn't see it. I entered inside and asked the first lady I saw "If Temple Goddess was on the other side", she said with an attitude "this is Temple Goddess", as if I was asking a stupid question. Such a major turnoff.
The guy standing next to her was pleasant, smiled and pointed to the signature on their wall and said with a smile "You're in the right place", and pointed me in the direction where I could pick up my food.
I'm huge of being polite and customer friendly. I will not frequent any place who can't provide great customer service to those who supported your business.
This was my first time and my last time visiting this place. I usually go to Twisted Plant in Oak Creek, but I didn't feel like driving that far this late. So I googled the nearest Vegan spot and this came up!
Now to the food...I am so shock that this is what they are serving customers. Where do I begin?? The only dish that was warm were my falafel and rice. Everything else was cold, as if he was still unthawing. I ordered almost 40 dollars worth of good and only liked the falafel dinner plate. Everything else I tossed out. I guess the food is a representation of the quality of customer service. There's no way this place should be in the Vegan category. Highly disappointed that I spent this amount of money and only liked two things.
I do NOT recommend.
I won't be...
Read morePhenomenal, exceptional food and people . Vegan awesomeness, fresh and clean food. What are people waiting for??? A must try is the baked pasta dish, crispy cheese, crispy noodles-so divine! The baked potato with a smidge of cashew cheese, roasted broccoli, peppers, onions! I love to top mine with the slaw, more veggies and it just takes it over the top. The portions are huge, so the prices are worth it. They have a fabulous lentil curry soup with chunks of potatoes- yum!! The desserts are definitely worth saving room! The vegan canoli is creamy with a crunchy shell that is stuffed with filling. 2 come to an order, enough to share! The apple tart????!!!! Out of this world, I wish you all could have smell buttons. It took me back to my youth, it hit every memory with its savory but sweet filling, you can taste the love that goes into their food!!! The location offers several restaurants within one building so there is only 5 counter seating. With the nice weather, order ahead and find a nice park. The owner was wonderful to speak to. I sincerely hope he grows and stays in Milwaukee, it is an excellent addition to the vegan scene. The drinks are wonderful too!! The specials, the sandwiches and everything,...
Read moreGood vegan gf+ options in an energetic, but cozy food hall. Food and service, 4/5 stars. It was kind of awkward having who we presumed to be the owners idly stand there while we figured out what we wanted/ how to order (you place your order on a tablet instead of face to face). But they were friendly and we didn’t have any questions. The food was excellent, albeit expensive for a quick bite for lunch. Total $57 after tip for two people. We each ordered one entree and a beverage. I give this place 5/5 stars for a different reason. I forgot my phone after we left… the woman who served us actually returned my missed calls, then properly set my phone aside for me to come get it. I’d return here to try some other specialized items off their menu (Mediterranean/ Middle...
