Red Crab Juicy Seafood — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Three of us decided to check them out last night as we love a good seafood boil. It took me a little while to schedule this one because the name feels a little uncomfortable. I don't know why, it just does, it's just a name.

The previous outing for a seafood boil was to a place at Mayfair Collective, which we enjoyed very much. This had been our first time out for a boil in the Milwaukee area so we had nothing to compare it to.

RC-JS is much better.

The food was delicious, with the size of the individual seafood pieces being much larger so you could really get a good taste of the [shrimp, crab, etc]. I did a build your own combo, selecting a 1/2 pound each of headless shrimp, snow crab legs, and sausage, with Cajun spice - mild. Each boil also comes with a mini corn cob and red potatoes. Served on a tray in the bag to keep in the steam and ensure everything stayed moist and hot. You are also given shell crackers, foam plates, forks, gloves and bibs. Perfect. No need to request extra napkins as there is a dispenser on the table. Before we were even finished we had already agreed we would be back. I also ordered a frozen, mango margarita. Excellent. Could really taste the fruit.

The service was excellent. Rob is a very sweet, friendly young man who gave us great service. Leaving us to go about our business of peeling shrimp and cracking crab legs, but keeping an eye on us should we need anything. He has a welcoming smile and calm demeanor. He was busy but did not let it fluster him.

The atmosphere is fun and nautical themed. It is bright with all of the unobstructed windows, with the decor being well-themed, but not overdone. The music is not what one would expect at a seafood restaurant, but it was fun and kept to a volume you can hear but do not need to talk over.

They gave me a mold crab leg and I do have Proof that it had mold in it. And they where charging me with money say it didn’t go through and trying to make me pay again but when I looked at my card it said I already paid but they want come at me saying i didn’t pay . So I called my card and it said i paid and I’m telling them and this lady wants to start getting loud with me and saying that I didn’t pay and now I’m broke and I couldn’t afford anything and she said she made more money than me and that she could even pay my bill so I told her to pay my bill so she gonna call the cops on me and saying that I assaulted her and I was about to walk out, but I was sitting there and my kids were in the back so if I was gonna walk out, I would’ve been left. So I waited to the cops came. They never showed up and I paid my bill. And I had chicken, so I gave it back because I never left out with it . And I was I’m paying my bill the workers want to get all loud with me and said that I can’t pay my bill. That’s why I’m broke as F . And she said one call that’s all cause maybe we can get it down . And then she gonna go in the back with the kitchen is it starts saying that’s why you can’t pay your bill like girl I was already paying my . And then they’re gonna lock the door make me seem like I was gonna run out, but I never ran out. So now I fell like act . So when I left I called my card and they told me that I had paid them twice and now I’m mad because I just lost...

Just 2 days ago we ordered a pick up order. This was supposed to be a nice experience for my fiancé as it was his birthday. We ordered 2 boil bags, hush puppies and cheese sticks, our total came out to over $100. Let me just start with saying that the food was AMAZING! The rating although comes from our experience at this location, lets just say it left me feeling like WHAT JUST HAPPENED!

My fiancé and I where absolutely disappointed to how this location is run, most of the employees look a HOT MESS! I seen some employees walking around in slides, talking extremely loud with no mannerisms, this behavior gives the business a horrible look to patrons. We kept shaking our head the whole time we where in the building, cringing at the experience.

After a gentleman hands us our food, before leaving the restaurant we begin checking our order, only to find out that an item was missed, as soon as this happened, a young lady runs up to my fiancé and I and says, "I took care of you guys, you got a tip". I said we are missing an item.

I am also not sure how much they pay employees since It has NEVER been ok to ask patrons for a tip, especially when not dining in.
