Silk Exotic Platinum Gentlemen's Club — Restaurant in Milwaukee

I have a lot of experience with strip clubs from around the country. Last night I ventured out to Silk in MKE with my girlfriend. We arrived last night around 8 with 2 other friends. The cover was $10 each which I thought was a bit high for a night when there was nothing really special going on. We paid and walked in. As we looked for a place to sit we noticed that EVERY table in the entire place was "Reserved" and required another $10 if you wanted a table. I almost walked out. You can sit at the tip rail for free, but that is costly too as we discovered because it was totally dead in there. So each girl dancing would hit us up for $4-$5 on each song. Im glad we bit the bullet and paid extra for the table.

The chairs were very straight backed and have no arm rests. this does not encourage people to stay long. Seems really backward for a place that gets paid more the longer people stay. While it was dead, the girls seemed like they could use a jump-start too. They were at best lethargic. To this point it was really disappointing. Drinks were typical strip club prices, so a bottled water and a beer was $15. One last thing that was very offensive to me were the signs posted in the bathroom that read "please tip the attendants. They receive no salary and rely completely on your tips for their income". If you can charge me a couple of buck more than most clubs to get in and another $10 to actually sit down, you F#@!(&S can afford to pay your attendants minimum wage.

Around 1030 to 11pm it started to pick up. A new lineup of girls came in and were much more lively than the previous group. Now for the good news... There was a great variety of body types and ages in the lineup of performers. I found many of them very attractive. Another thing I really like is that throughout the evening I wasn't constantly pestered to buy dances or shots. These 2 elements alone are why I might actually consider returning. The silk is the worst strip club you could ever go to, I like strip clubs but this one is full of con artists, they will shred you for every dime your worth and don't give a shot about their customers or what they have to say. I walked into this place and not even 3 mins had a stripper ask my friend and I if I wanted a lap dance. Of course we did so we did, I was there for half a song and the girl was talking about taking me upstairs for $300. Fortunately for me I left my credit card at the last bar so I didn't have it and explained this to the girl. It pissed her off so she told the bouncer I owe her $20 because she danced 2 songs with another girl. Couldn't be further from the truth, the bouncers wouldn't listen to me or check the video footage because it was to "time consuming" so told me to pay up or get out. My friend also had a lap dance she danced a couple extra songs for him and said that he wouldn't have to pay for the extra songs, when he got out she demanded $80 and had to pay up. This establishment is a joke, their are way better strip clubs than this who don't con you. Take my advice and...

My wife insisted that I go to a gentlemen’s club having never been to one before. We live close to Silk so it was decided that we go there. I was pleasantly surprised! I was surprised to be able to the girls topless. All the ladies were very good looking, professional, and extremely athletic. What they can do on a pole is remarkable! Silk was much nicer than I expected and we were genuinely welcomed and made to feel at home. One of the dancers came to our table to talk. She was very tall, beautiful, with long legs and large well shaped breasts! She seemed to be very open, willing to talk, and genuinely interested in hearing why we came to Silk on couples night. At the time, we were the only couple there. Eventually my wife paid for a lap dance for me. Once again, I was not expecting how close and erotic this would be.
