I placed an order at this location online. I went on my LUNCH BREAK to pick my food up and my sub was horrible. The bread was hard, it was oily, and had a lot of mayo. Nothing in which I ordered. I proceeded to ask if they could simply remake the sandwich. The 2 young ladies told me no and I would need to call corporate to get a refund. Appalled to say the least. I asked to speak with a manager and no one was in. I demanded they contact him because I wasn’t leaving without either my money or a remake of the sandwich. The manager called and gave them the ok to remake my sandwich. I’m trying to figure out why would the manager need to okay this?! I spent my money and my time on my lunch break to come to this establishment and this is the treatment I get? I spent my whole break in there for something that could have been easily resolved. Subway please do better for your customers and find new employees and management. I can’t even believe the manager had me tell him what I don’t like about the sub. It shouldn’t have matter it should have been an apology given for the inconvenience. There is 2 other places I could go to and get better service but I choice this place....
Read moreI am visiting the city to see a comedy show tonight. I passed this Subway down the street from the theater and went to purchase a footlong Subway cookie, I LOVE THEM. A young Indian women mopping the floor stared at me from the inside as if she never seen an African American man before after I asked her politely from outside the store if they were still open. An older Indian woman came out the back as I entered the store to make my order than bring me up. While doing this she also proceeded to stare at me then pushed my order a bit towards me so I can retrieve it on my own. My parents fostered me in an environment growing up where we had friends and family of all cultures/skin colors in our lives. The looks I got here made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I asked for extra tomatoes and extra pickles and the woman behind the counter got defensive about the toppings and told me that if I wanted the extra toppings she would have to charge we extra. I asked her how I would be charged extra for the toppings and said that she would ring it up as extra cheese because there is no option to ring up extra toppings. I have never experienced this at any Subway I have been to before. I think the extra toppings come out of that woman’s paycheck so that’s why she was so defensive about the extra toppings.
