We visited Milwaukee in July 2024, and this restaurant was within a walking distance from the downtown Drury Plaza hotel. Plus, it was open until 10 pm on a Sunday, which was convenient. We ordered Veg Chilli momos as an appetizer and had Paneer Tikka Masala with garlic and butter naan for the main course. The momos were okay, but the ketchup they added kind of messed up the flavor. The naan and Paneer Tikka Masala were good. I just wish the service had been better—there were only four or five customers, including us, but it still took them a while to take our order, and they didn't check in for water refills or anything. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience; just the usual service you'd expect at most Indian restaurants, which I'm not really a fan of. Still, I'd recommend this place if you're looking for good Indian food, whether vegetarian or non-vegetarian.

so happy to have this spot in the neighborhood! we got takeout but i need to return to dine in :) the menu is big and there is a great selection of appetizers, which makes this place really stand out from the many other indian restaurants in the city. i loved the samosa chaat and chili momos and haven’t had food like that elsewhere in milwaukee. the chicken tikka masala was classic and delicious. i will definitely be back to try more menu items, especially given the convenient location. i would do 4.5 stars if i could because i felt it was expensive for the portion sizes and quality, which was really good but not spectacular. however i will still be looking forward to coming back!

The service was good, the atmosphere and the look of the place was decent. The garlic man tasted a little stale and chewy. The gravy items are edible. However do not order a biryani. It was probably the worst biryani I have ever eaten. You do not add broccoli and corn in a biryani. And I don't think the biryani was made as a biryani it was white rice mixed with paneer tikka masala and sold as biriyani. The rice was way too mushy and the consistency of the biryani was similar to a bisibelsbath or dal rice. Not worth the price for the quality you got..

Woah..... 😳. You know how you go to get Indian , and they all have the same type of menu, but some places make things better than others? This place has it all. The lamb is very tender/fall apart but NOT in huge chunks too big to eat, and they do not skimp , they are very generous. The creams and curries like masala, korma, seem a step up compared to surrounding places, they are very rich, robust, fresh, and creamy. The flavor is excellent and it is overall higher quality than other places in Milwaukee for the same type of pricing bracket. I would definitely recommend this place and we are going to be repeat customers. At first I felt like I was cheating on my regular place , but the second I tasted the food I was converted lol 😋 .

The chaats are pretty good, but be forewarned that they put the chutneys like the mint and tamarind on top of the Chaat instead of on the side. I may ask for the chutneys on the side next time 😊. I definitely say try the lamb. The garlic naan is excellent as well, the ghee is so good on it and the texture of the naan here is much better than a place that is very close. I always eat the leftovers Chaat in the morning because I like savory for breakfast and this is one of the best chaats I've had in Milwaukee.

The masala sauce is unique and also better than other close by competitors. In fact, that masala sauce is soooo good , I'm eating just the sauce with the naan 😂. I rarely find a sauce this delicious. It is almost as if you can taste the fresh cream in it or yogurt, and there is a subtle overall smooth sweetness almost , but it is tomatoes based and just perfectly balanced. For...

Stopped in for take out at a new to us indian food restaurant and everything was so delicious. We will be back again

We sadly live 40mins outside the city these days and we didnt make it to our usual spot on time before close, we stopped here because of the awesome late night hours. It did not disappoint!! So delicious and fresh!! Everyone was very friendly and had a very relaxing atmosphere. We always have extra love for places were we can watch the music videos on the TVs while we relax.

The gentleman who took our order last night was so nice. We are both still pretty new to enjoying indian food and are terrible at pronouncing things so we typed out a little list and he was so kind about it. We are still figuring out what everything is, but indian food is SO GOOD and is so easy on my tricky stomach. They ask spice levels too for everything, which is great cuz I unfortunately cant handle spice.

The samosas were sooo good and we always get as much paneer and garlic naan as possible 😂

We will be back, and will definitely be ordering extra...

I recently dined at Turmeric Indian Restaurant, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance made me feel right at home. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was exceptional. The flavors at Turmeric are simply outstanding! Each dish was carefully prepared with authentic Indian spices, creating a tantalizing explosion of flavors in my mouth. I particularly enjoyed their signature butter chicken, which was incredibly rich and creamy, perfectly complemented by fluffy garlic naan. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation of each dish was visually stunning. It's evident that Turmeric takes great pride in delivering not only delicious food but also an aesthetically pleasing dining experience. Turmeric Indian Restaurant truly exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Indian...
