Subway — Restaurant in Milwaukee

My boyfriend asked to switch out a meat on his sub to another meat and was told he was not allowed to do that(which I’ve never heard of them not being able to do before they usually just charge extra). We went to the Subway down the road and they were more than HAPPY to do a different meat than was offered with the sub. So makes me wonder why this specific Subway can’t do the same thing? Considering how slow this place always is, you think you’d do what you can to get business. Maybe it’s some rule this specific one has, but it’s pretty dumb considering usually at Subway you can create your own type of sub. Definitely will never be back to this Subway and don’t recommend coming here unless you like the subs only as offered on the menu. Skyler was so courteous and gave us great service. It was so nice to see a smiling face rather than a bored teenager behind the counter. She even acknowledged my 8 year old daughter, who has debilitating shyness, was psyched to have been treated like an adult. Skyler waved and said "goodbye" and "come back soon," as we left. And we certainly will be back soon. I dont care if there is a closer sub shop. Im driving to this one. Its funny how something so small like picking up a sandwich can turn your day around. I have had an issue TWICE in the last two weeks.

1. on July 4th the store was closed but the app allowed me to place an order. The restaurant on the 5th pushed the payment. Only refunded AFTER I contacted corporate.

2. tonight I ordered with the app again. This time I was informed that they could not connect with the server. After 15 mins of them calling someone and talking off and on, I asked if I could just show them in the app that I paid and what I ordered if I could get my order, it took them another 10 mins talking to someone on the phone to agree.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET SUBWAY TRAVEL THE EXTRA FEW MILES AND GO TO ANOTHER STORE. THIS STORE IS CLEARLY NOT...
