The Gilded Cleaver — Restaurant in Milwaukee

This is one of newest of the ever-growing number of restaurants and bars inside Potowotomi Hotel and Casino. if The Gilded Cleaver is NOT a new addition to the location, it was new to me on my recent visit there. when first discovered it we were excited about checking it out for the 1st time,.so we were definetly stopping in to have a drink, but we were undecided about staying to eat dinner there as well. simply because we had no idea what they would have to offer us on the menu/what the vibe in general would be like. But as soon as I saw the 📃 options, I was all in 🙂 It was perfectly Potawotomi Casino themed out to the MAX, and I am all about a theme.🥳 Playing Cards and the 4 Suits on them is what they used, for the names for the food dishes. it was super cute, and that got me excited to try something there. Which I did, and they did not disappoint. I really enjoyed my meal, and we had a total blast!!...

As a restaurant owner myself, I was surprised by how unfriendly the woman was who handed me my food—she seemed completely disengaged, as if she didn’t want to be there, let alone interact with customers. That said, the food was impressive. I had the Queen of Hearts sandwich, which was generously sized and tasted great. I also tried the meatball soup, which was excellent. I would definitely order both...

The meatball grinder was dry with hardly no gardniera on it. Too much bread for the actual sandwich...
