Linden Hills Jewelers — Attraction in Minneapolis

I had worked with Jason (as a customer) some years ago and was delighted to learn he was back in the Twin Cities. Although I couldn't have been more pleased with the two necklaces he'd made for me before, and have received so very many compliments on them, the intervening years have obviously taught him even more. When I told him what I was looking for a (sapphire) pendent with a short chain), he informed me a vendor he liked was in town and he could get me some pieces to look at---no pressure. Well, of the three I looked at, I fell for the same one he had :), though there was still no pressure. He was very generous with his time and experience as we discussed how to set it to its best advantage. The costs were all clearly stated, along with alternatives and their costs. I told him of my arthritis and subsequent difficulty with fastening chains (especially short ones) and he found me one I can easily fasten that is also perfect for the stone and the setting. He has also resized rings for me and performed some excellent repairs. These days it's difficult to find anyone who is willing and able to produce anything with this level of craftsmanship, much less dedicated and personal attention. Three cheers for Jason and Linden...

Jason is incredible! He listens, is a master of his craft, and has an easy way of conveying information to help him build custom jewelry that reflects his clients. He also has the incredible ability of breathing new life into heirloom jewelry/jewels. My fiance wanted to use his grandmothers engagement and wedding rings and create something that reflected where we have come from and where we are going. Jason created a beautiful ring that is timeless. He worked within a time restraint knowing that I was leaving the state for residency, he not only crafted the ring, but also got it sized and assessed within days. He spent time with me teaching me about the ring and how to care for it and suggested I bring it in every 6 months for cleaning and to check on the jewels. I met Jason well after the ring was created and when I walked in to his cozy studio in Linden Hills I was welcomed by someone that felt like an old friend. I am excited to see him again soon, catch up on the really interesting projects he has going on, bounce ideas off of him about wedding bands, and of course have my ring buffed up! He is truly gifted....

Jason did an amazing job of restoring an heirloom ring. Was amazingly reassuring to know the ring was being worked on by a master craftsman that I could talk to personally. So refreshingly reassuring compared to talking to a counter sales person and trusting your instructions are well translated. Jason communicated with beautiful pictures. Why would you take your precious jewelry anywhere else, when you have a talented jeweler like Jason?

4/26/2024 update review. It has been 5 years since my first review in 2019. I recently had a need for a jeweler and went Jason (why go anywhere else in the twin cities??)
