my friend got the Pho Tai Bo Vien and got food poisoning from the meat. I tried the broth and noodles and am fine, but he is not! beware. I got sautéed lemongrass chicken and it was so mid 😭 The chicken was doused in a lemongrass sauce, too sweet, and not very seasoned. the limeade is subpar as well. i got a piece of ice with random flecks of black? we also got the special cream cheese wontons, which were too thin for my taste. my friend thought they were good though.

random note, the fortune cookies have stake (gambling site) ads on them. i’ve never seen ads on fortunate cookies before, it was interesting

food aside, the restaurant itself is cute. it has a greenhouse eating area and a huge spoon as decoration. there’s also free parking.

if you’re taking the 30 bus here, you can kiss an hour of your day goodbye. it was around 5pm and the bus was so delayed. when it came, the driver told me not to get on because she was going to change route… right…

I've driven by this Vietnamese restaurant for years but never ate there until the other day. It totally exceeded our expectations. Absolutely everything that we ordered was delicious. Their service was so nice and accommodating. We were seated in the area with lots of windows, I liked that it was sunny and bright. When I commented to the owner that it was a little cold, he then said he could bring a small space heater. He set it up right behind us and it definitely helped us feel more comfortable. We definitely will be back. My two companions very much liked their Pho entrees. We all thought the crispy chicken appetizer was especially tasty. I really enjoyed my lunch chicken entree and the spring roll was the big and tasty. We definitely are coming back. The lunch prices were quite reasonable. The restaurant was clean and attractive It had a lot of character,...
