Having lived in the Metro for a few months now, I've visited this Five Guy's location a few times now for takeout orders (if I go in for takeout I usually like to get a regular size order of Cajun Fries, if I get a whole meal I like to also get the little bacon cheeseburger with my toppings) as well as my fiancée and I have ordered from this location through delivery apps. We've always had good quality from here/tasty food.
I would like to leave a compliment/commendation for one of the staff from my most recent visit yesterday. I didn't catch her name/see her name tag (she's on the younger side, maybe older teen/young adult), but this young lady covered the rest of the cost of my Cajun fries for me. If any readers use Cash App, you've probably noticed lately how it's been malfunctioning for users. My cash app was having issues yesterday in reflecting the correct balance, minutes before I left my house I had money on my card (that my fiancée sent me), but when I made my purchase the money I had wasn't there and only ~$2 was paid. (I asked if she uses cash app at all and she knew the issues I was talking about), I had shown her what my fiancée sent me but I didn't want to hold them up in their work so I said it's no problem if she cancels the transaction, that's when she offered to cover the rest for me.
It may be a small act but especially yesterday I greatly appreciated this kindness. It was my 8 year anniversary since starting testosterone for HRT, and lately life has been really rough for my fiancée and I so this genuinely made me smile. I hope the same kindness comes around to that young lady, and we'll definitely continue to purchase from here!

Read moreI visited this location after a dental appointment to purchase 2 cheeseburgers for my sons and was harassed. After ordering the employee asked if I wanted a drink or water cup and I stated water cup is fine. While waiting for my order was approached my am employee and was asked if I had water or something else in my cup. So I opened the cup and showed the employee that I had water and ice and asked her did she see me put something other than water in my cup to accuse me of a crime see stated no so I asked her why she approached me with nonsense. Next spoke to the manager Tori and was told that their in Uptown (not sure what she was implying by that) and they have to approach SOME customers to ask the question. I recommended that they get clear cups so they don’t harass and accuse people of committing a crime. She said she’s not in charge of that. I am so disappointed with this experience totally ridiculous. Never will visit again or recommend not worth it PERIOD. GET CLEAR CUPS SINCE UPTOWN PEOPLE AS THE MANAGER STATED MUST HAVE A STANDARD OF STEALING A DRINK...
Read moreCrowded, loud, overated greasy food. Service was truly nonchalant as to hardly be considered service: one stands in line to place an order and then stand around waiting for the order. Find a clean table if you can (maybe that's an easier task outside of peak meal times) and serve yourself a soda/pop. They do get an extra star for their Coke mixing machine with nice selections and syrups. The interior seemed bland and uninteresting. Some sound reduction measures would be helpful as kitchen and customers chatting and moving in the large open area can make carrying on a conversation a challenge. As for the food itself, if you like a greasy, fried hamburger on a non-descript bun with a bunch of mediocre fries, then you should absolutely ignore my review. It seemed too expensive for the non-service, the less-than-stellar food, and the sterile and unimaginative surroundings. It's a shame: there is a lot of potential for something better at this...
