Picked this place due to advertised parking. Very large parking lot, plenty of room to park. Made a reservation for 7p.m., and we still had a 15 min wait. I would definitely recommend a reservation on a busy evening. They have a bar, but it was packed to the hilt. Some large open areas, provided standing room / seating. The entire restaurant was decorated for the Christmas holiday, very neutral colors. The food menu is a bit small, but the choices are amazing!! We decided on the brussel sprouts for an appetizer, a bit overcooked but it was still very delicious!! The entrees we tried was Thai Chicken, a Mac & Cheese with short rib, and a Lobster bisque soup Hands down. The mac and cheese with the short rib added, was the best thing that we had that evening. Most of living amongst us all the items were good, however that would be my go-to when I return. They did offer some specialty alcoholic drinks for the season, but we did not venture down that road on his visit. To top the dinner off, we tried a variety of desserts. The butterscotch pudding was fantastic!! We also tried the chocolate cake, and carrot cake. The carrot cake was homemade, and the cream cheese icing was to die for. I look forward to returning to this restaurant, possibly during the spring or summer and dining at their outdoor seating.

The friendly hostess greeted us right away and our server, Lexi was very attentive, bubbly, and prompt. We were seated right away at 6:30 pm on a Friday night. The menu was quite varied. Lexi checked on us regularly and brought my glass of wine right away. The Mary Taylor Chenin Blanc was perfect. The cheese curds were ok. Just bland and not as crisp as we're used to. Though of course the sauces are there to hide the mildness. The burger itself was good. It was cooked to the pink requested. Nice that it was a steak burger. Nice and juicy and the bacon was nicely cooked. The lettuce was tough, there was so much sauce that it made the bun wet and nasty. Maybe if the bun was more robust or toasted it would have been better. We decided to bring half of it home for the dog. The fries which cost another $2 were so very unremarkably plain, and unseasoned that we joked the chef must have a cold. The lobster bisque was ok. It was my first time trying the bisque. I thought it would be more flavorful and there were large pieces of lobster. It was more sweet and the seafood flavor was very subtle. The house salad was very nice to look at, and the greens were very nice, but once again the flavor was not there. The dressing was heavy on the oil and light on the vinegar, with no herbiness. The tidbits of cucumber, peppers and and chickpeas made it difficult to eat. I think it could use at least a grating of a hard cheese, like Parmesan or Asiago and fresh pepper. Walleye and shrimp cakes were tastier, though the large chunks of shrimp in it were odd with the soft, perhaps underdone walleye, especially in the center. The color and crust was nice.

Visited right after an afternoon Lynx game at around 5pm. When we entered we were promptly greated and asked if wanted to ait inside or outside, we chose the patio since it was a nice day. Started with drinks, chocolate milk for the kiddo, a hard cider for me and a sour for the misses. We then asked our waitress what she would recommend for first time visitors, she gave us a number of items of which we did end up ordering two off. For the kiddo, macaroni and cheese which fortunately is not kraft, comes with a nice accompaniment of cheese bread, carrots, and a cookie. I had the fish tacos after confirming they would have some spice, comes with three generous three size tacos. The fish and sauce play nice together. The misses had the steak and pierogies which came with good portions of both. Steak was a tad overdone for medium but still nice and tender. The pierogies were decent sized. For dessert we had chocolate mousse cake and butterscotch pudding. The chocolate mousse cake comes with ice cream and whipped cream, the wait staff live to pour the chocolate sauce nicely over the dessert. The butterscotch pudding was flavorful and smooth. Overall a nice place which will have to visit again to try other items.

Wait! Please pause for a second and look at all four of these excellently composed culinary creations. Don’t swipe on quite orecchi-yet! 😁 *Proper pronunciation of the pictured pasta to pick up on the pun: oh-reck-ee-ET-tay*👌 Primavera Orecchiette, Chicken Pesto Pappardelle, Baja Bowl, and the Breakfast Bowl from The Lowry in Uptown 🥣🍽 We came for some elevated foods and a semi-formal dining experience. The Lowry no doubt delivered; this place is modern on the inside, and makes you feel fancy without breaking the bank, as their enormous menu is very fairly priced. I had the Orecchiette. It was a well balanced plate with a creamy yet light tomato mornay sauce, just the right vegetable to pasta ratio, and that perfect Parmesan finish ya look for. It was fantastic, and I enjoyed every bite. Though I didn’t try the other dishes, all guests were impressed and would return without hesitation. Next time you’ve got a group and a special event or occasion, check out the Lowry and be ready to lick your plate. But totally don’t… Remain sophisticated… 😉😋 Shoutout to John, our waiter, for his masterful charisma!

A standard pub house that didn’t wow but kept the status quo. Deviled eggs were decent, creamy, eggy and tangy. The Deluxe burger had crispy candied bacon which complemented the Wisconsin cheese. The meat was cooked as requested and the onions added a nice crunch. The Peter’s burger that tasted too much like the McDonalds hamburger. You know what I mean? The one with the mustard and ketchup combo. Mayo might’ve been a better condiment as it’s a little more subtle and would let the other flavors shine. Cheese curds were solid, squeaky-ish, salty, crusty, and chewy. I thought they overthought it with the applesauce and spicy sauces though. A nice side of ranch would’ve done the trick. The final dish, the Parmesan crusted grilled cheese was the dark horse winner. It the crust added a salty and crunchy texture to complement the gooey middle. When dipped in the shot of tomato soup, that took the sandwich over the top as it added the classic tomato element. Overall a decent place for a casual dinner. Would I go again? Maybe

Definitely take advantage of the happy hour menu. We ate like royalty with a smorgasbord of options for a very reasonable price. I hadn't had oysters on the half in a long time and I found all three styles delicious. My favorite was the one with szechuan, the sauce sweet, a bit spicy and well balanced. None of the three styles had that "fishy" taste oysters can have. The mash potato martini is a must and their house made chips, a delight. The carnitas tacos were savory and the pico was sooo fresh, we ended up ordering two. The salmon spinach dip was more salmon salad on a bed of spinach in a good way. It was a new flavor for me and I always a appreciate that. The only thing I would skip was the mocktail old fashion. It tasted more like a sweet cinnamon tottey which wasn't what I am looking for from an old fashion. It wasn't bad, just not for me. Our young gentleman server was thoughtful, engaging and knowledgeable. Go out of your way for this one. The happy hour menu is included.
