I visited this location (2037 Riverside in Minneapolis) during my lunch break today at 2pm hoping to use the new promo to "make it a combo for free". I was serviced by DeeDee at the front, who had headphones in while she took my order (not that big a deal to me). I was not greeted, she just stood there waiting for me to order. I placed my order and she gave me a total of $16 and some change. I pointed at the sign and asked if it included the combo deal? She said yes. After my card was ran, i stated i did not believe it applied, and she stared at the receipt. At that point, I just said, "don't worry about it", as I wanted to get back to the office. Once my order was ready, the sandwich and kickin' ranch sauce was handed to me, even though I stated "to go". I then asked about the bottled water and she goes, "it's in the front". I just wanted to get out of there at that point because of the complete lack of customer service from Dee Dee. I did not want to let it ruin my day. It was by far the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I love Jimmy John's, but I will never return to this location again. The credit I can give, is to the cleanliness of the establishment, and Dee Dee did actually make my sandwich well, but she is in DIRE need of some customer service training. I have worked in customer service for 17 years, and even managed a Dairy Queen for 10, and I have never seen such bad customer service. I urge the management staff at this location to train her immediately, or let her go before she affects business. If I could give Dee Dee...
Read moreThis particular Jimmy John's has been a life saver for me while working at UMN. We have very limited options on the West Bank for something quick to stop in a pick up to take back to the office. I'm glad JJs is one of them.
The service here is always prompt and reliable, but I expect that from Jimmy John's. I can't say I've ever had an order screwed up and the speed is unmatched in the industry. Even when you show up during a busy time, the wait is minimal.
If you've eaten at JJs before, you know what to expect from the food. This location follows the procedures to a T. We all know it's not really "gourmet" but I also can't get any better with this ease and convenience without planning ahead, which I rarely do.
Decor is standard JJs as well. You get all the witty signage and an easy to read, minimalist menu. Store was being mopped when I just went to grab lunch, and looked immaculately clean.

Read moreOrdered a sandwich at 9 PM. Called at 1030 and was told the driver was on his way. Called again at 11:10, a couple minutes after they closed and no response. Still waiting on the sandwich that never came... Pretty poor performance in my opinion. The road conditions are not terrible currently, so I am not sure what there problem is. My guess would be management.
*update, They said the driver's cell phone died and he couldn't find my address. I am literally 3 blocks down one street from them. Overheard the guy on the phone say he could go back, and the manager say not to.... even though they entered into the contract to do just that. I guess letting a delivery driver off 10 mins early is more important than delivering a customer's food. Ridiculously lousy service. They did give me store credit so I could order food again and wait even longer;... How about just deliver my food in
