I attended Augsburg from January ‘22 to May ‘24 and I’m grateful for the experiences and all the staff who have helped me along the way. Trio is a great program to be In, my advisor connected me to so many grants and scholarships and even recommended the McNair program. The university does have wonderful opportunities for aid however they can be a hassle to obtain sometimes. The food isn’t all the great, I went to Nabo almost everyday because it was the only decent thing to eat on campus. I was a commuter and a transfer student so I can’t really speak on living conditions on campus but parking sucks arrive before 9am if you want a decent spot. I’m blessed to have made some lifelong friends and to have met some of the best professors during my undergraduate experience.

I was really excited to go to college here, I was one the first students with FAS Grant for foster care and wow did I go wrong picking this college. My first semester I missed a week due to COVID which I’ll excuse, but I got in 2nd semester and instantly had issues. With the FAS grant foster kids have a free dorm room paid and college, I was supposed to have all these until they brought me in their office after attending for a month and was told I would start having to pay out of pocket, WHEN I WAS GIVEN FREE COLLEGE. I filled out the drop out forms that allows you not to get charged as well turned them in a week early and they told me two weeks later I missed the deadline and still dropped me from all classes then charged me $10,000. If you’re a foster kid looking for a way to succeed and find success and a supporting community I do not recommend this school. They also had dropped me from 2 classes for no reason so I would no longer be in 5 classes which is the minimum for all the scholarships. Dropped me in my FIRST 3 days of attending. This was supposed to be the experience of my life instead turned into the worst...

Bethany Lutheran Church, worshipping virtually (Zoom), physically distancing, but keeping our ties is now conducting the Sunday at 10 am Worship Services from the beautiful Gundale Chapel on Augsburg Campus. At this time limited to only worship leaders on site we are looking forward to when we can safely gather in person. Augsburg University and especially Leif Anderson has been wonderful to work with as Bethany moves out into the community and into a public church in passing on its physical building to Augsburg. Augsburg's support of spiritual and faith growth of its students and community within different religions is a joy to see and Bethany is glad to be a...
