Mayta's Cafe — Restaurant in Minneapolis

Definitely my favorite place downtown. Coffee is great. Food is made fresh and doesn’t sit out long because of the demand or else they make it fresh from the kitchen which is more likely. The main guy is really professional and nice, works hard and makes sure his employees are staying busy doing things for the restaurant/store. The food is good(ish), but not at all worth the prices. The main restaurant on HCMC campus seems to run pretty smoothly. However, the smaller cafes are a mess. Most of the employees are more interested in looking at their phones than helping you. The food cases are full of fruit flies. And the food itself is just whatever is leftover from the main restaurant the day before, reheated in a microwave. But, of course, priced exactly the same. The staff had me and my group wait over 32 minutes as everyone else in the cafe got their food. After patiently waiting we approached register asked what is going on? Come to find out the guy at cash register never gave our order slips to the cook. We asked for a refund after this completely unprofessional experience. They then could not figure out their own system and took 2 people help us get refund. Would not recommend this place doesn’t value customers time....
