Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Minneapolis

This is the worst Popeyes. I've ever been to in my whole entire lifetime, and I love popeyes. This is my third Very very terrible visit. I tried to give them 3 chanceS. The customer service absolutely sucks. My reasons Are very clear. Have somebody at the Order and pick up window that knows the menu, that listens to customers, that can adjust the order when asked, that can count back correct change, And doesn't question you about how many sauces you want to add If you're going to pay for them !!!!! It would also be a good idea to maybe have the order taker know a list of the sauces. Also, if I want to Order something extra, Please take note of it and add it to the order . Please get this window a loudspeaker so that the order taker can hear the customers. Every single person that ordered when I was there including myself. Literally had to yell so that their order could be heard. Several of these things were not done in my case. When I took my food home, which was a brisk and swift two block walk, I noticed that 4 of the pieces of chicken that were supposed to come with my order we're Missing. 8 piece, not a 4 piece. I had to carry home a drink that I didn't want, But was forced to take. The change that they gave me didn't match what was on the receipt! I didn't get any of the sauces that I requested, Except for this mysterious honey mustard sauce. That I absolutely despise ended up in my bag. All three times i've been here they never offer me butter ketchup or honey. And it's like This supercommon sense is such a high expectation to have the butter in the honey In the bag with the biscuits that I don't even ask for it or even remember so when I get Home i'm Stuck with yet another dry biscuit. The red beans and Rice we're amazing!!!! The atmosphere of the outdoor pick up window is fantastic. I enjoy The old-fashioned atmosphere of a dining room inside The restaurant. And also the ability to use a Rest Room To possibly wash your hands or freshen up before you take that big old bite of chicken. Nope, not here, never even been given a chance. To enjoy the dining room. They just built it and just chose not to Allow anybody in there. Another big disappointment is the mobile app. The last time I went to popeye's. I was allowed to use cash after I Ordered online and chose to pick it up at the pickup window . This time not at all. I had to have a debit card or credit card to order so I opted out and paid $12 more than the price. I was gonna pay on the mobile app for the same amount of items period pretty depressing when I have to pay fullchris especially when it worked last time. Anyways, say your prayers, count your blessings, and maybe work on some anger management before you go to this popeye's. So we ordered our food and I got a number 2 combo with a side of Mac and cheese and a cheese cake and my hubby got a six piece wings honey bbq combo his side being potato's and gravy. So right above the menu it says combo includes a side, a biscuit and a drink. Combos 1,2, and 3 do not include the biscuit. So we get our food and Brian's eating and he says we're is my biscuit, so I says I will go get it. So I stand back in line and after two people order I tell the man that I didn't get my biscuit with my chicken wings. So he says chicken wings is not a meal. So I says it doesn't say with a meal, it says with a combo. The man comes out to show me what he's talking about stands there saying the wings are not a meal, I argued with him saying it has nothing to do with a meal, it says combos come with a side, a biscuit and a drink. So he's arguing with me and I tell him it's false advertisement and that he could get sued so he says I have no biscuit for you! How hard would it have been for him to just give my husband a biscuit? I love this Popeyes location. I've been through the drive thru maybe 10 times since they reopened after burning down (and over 50 times at the old building), and I've never had a problem. They always find my mobile order and have it ready before I get up to the window. My order has always been correct and the food has always been good. At some other locations, I've been given the wrong chicken or really bad looking pieces of chicken. Not here! Overall, not a single thing to complain about. They have really raised their prices over the last few years, but I don't know how they were making money with how cheap it used to be. I think it's worth it.

This location also has a walk up order window, which is nice if you live nearby.

Recommendations: Always get the spicy chicken. It's not spicy as in hot, it's spicy in that it has spices and flavorings the original chicken does not.
