As an ex Starbucks employee I understand how hard it is to work here, but genuinely some of the worst service I've ever seen. I came in a week ago with my boyfriend, and I ordered him a Vanilla latte with 5 extra pumps of vanilla. When you make this drink the way I ordered it, it's just 5 extra pumps of the SAME syrup. I watched our barista pump a mystery syrup in it, realize it was the wrong syrup, do a little look around to see if anyone saw (I always watch for this exact reason) and instead of pouring it out, getting a new cup, or literally doing anything, she put 4 pumps of vanilla in it. My boyfriend hated his drink, and said it tasted like mint (he hates mint flavors). I tasted it and he was right; his extremely VANILLA drink tasted like I licked Santa's Elf's armpit: Mint. The only reason I didn't ask for a refund was because my sweet boyfriend just said he would drink it, but ended up throwing it away after sadly sipping on it for 30 min. The store closes at like 2:30 or 3, and are constantly out of everything. The staff is super rude and curt; they are snippy and cut you off. They added coffee to my Creme frap, and again, I recently worked in a Starbucks; I always order in order of how you input it into the machine so it's easier; there should be 0 reason there is coffee in my clearly labeled creme frap. There is one barista who is good. She has longer locks, nose rings (a black and gold one) and a pretty smile. She was the only saving grace...
Read moreWow - something else. Two baristas were on duty. They were stocking and taking out the garbage and no one was making drinks. The drink orders just kept piling up and neither of them seemed to care one bit (the manager was no where in sight). Iâve seen this happen a lot at Starbucks stores (maybe this is their corporate policy - every barista working stocks and cleans before he or she serves any customers; if so, they need to change it). Anyway, the cashier finally asked one of them to start making drinks. The barista taking out the trash set the trash bag down and started making drinks. Notice anything missing? She did not wash her hands!!! I know what you are thinking ... why think that an employee at Starbucks should wash her hands before making drinks after she has handled garbage? It is probably too much to...
Read moreI ordered my drink like always, labeled clearly NO ICE, and the barista put ice in it of course, even after reading the label. And then after asking for it to be made without ice, like I originally asked, she complained loudly to her coworker saying âshut upâ! About my request. If she had done it right on the first place it would have been fine, but she even went so far as to verbally shame me in front of a crowd of people. I even got my new drink, and she purposefully didnât fill it up all the way. I order this same exact order at every Starbucks I go to and there is no trouble at all. Seems they need to reevaluate their workers here. I didnât even bother asking for a refund, although I clearly didnât receive...
